Asian Dramas have taken over the world of entertainment with their fresh stories and approach. There is a lot to explore in this avenue especially if you are someone always in search of something good to see. So here we are with a short list of Asian dramas you’ll surely love if you like the Romantic-Comedy genre. Let’s have a look –

LOVE O2OSee the source image

What makes someone fall in love? For elusive genius Xiao Nai, it was how elegantly Wei Wei’s fingers flew on the keyboard while playing an online game! Their love story is just beginning when he decides to chase after this simple and beautiful girl who isn’t afraid to speak her mind.
Released in 2016 and adapted from the web novel ‘Just One Smile is Alluring’ this Chinese drama has been a fan-favorite for years with no decline in its popularity. The story is simple and the execution praise-worthy. The well-written characters are brought to life by good actors who fit their roles perfectly. If you love the Rom-Com genre with no unnecessary drama- you will fall in love with this show.

STRONG WOMAN DO BONG SOONSee the source image

Ask any Korean drama fan, their top dramas of all time and this one is bound to pop up sooner or later. It’s just that good! Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, 2017, perfectly blends comic, romantic, mystery and supernatural elements to bring to us a story that will that will you surprise you in a good way. Seriously, the approach of this drama is completely different and the characters so diverse yet lovable.

GO HO’S STARRY NIGHTSee the source image

A 2016 Korean web-series with 20 episodes, each 18 minutes or shorter in length. Go Ho’s Starry Night is my personal favorite one this list (tied with Love O2O of course!). A story is about Go Ho, a 29 year old who works in an Advertising agency and has been relatively unlucky in the matters of heart. But everything changes once she sets her mind on turning her life around.
Don’t go to my words- the show is actually much more interesting than my bland shot at the summary. The story is well-paced and the actors did a great job. The comic elements are well-balanced with the romantic ones and you will fall in love with the male and female leads.

FABULOUS BOYS/IKEMEN DESU NE/YOU’RE BEAUTIFULSee the source image

Three different dramas from three different countries, but since they share the same story with just a few minor changes here and there, we decided to put them together and leave up to our readers on which version to go for first. You can watch all three because despite drawing from the same source, all are pretty good watch, especially if you like Rom-Com.
Taiwan’s Fabulous Boys (2013), Japan’s Ikemen Desu Ne (2011) and South Korea’s You’re Beautiful (2009) tell the story of a young girl who joins an all-boys pop band pretending to be her twin brother because he couldn’t for some reason and since its once in a lifetime opportunity, she helps him cover up because how else the story would be set in motion. It’s funny, hilarious even depending on the version you choose and the actors and a must-watch.

THE MASTER’S SUNSee the source image

Romance, Comedy, and Ghosts- these three words sum perfectly what you can expect from this super popular South Korean drama which was released in 2013 and is one of the most loved Rom-Coms ever. Oh and the actors are really good and I mean really good… there is a lot this drama has to offer to the viewers.
From scary ghosts to pretty mild ones, a sleep-deprived young girl who can see the aforementioned ghosts and a cold chaebol who might be the only person who can help her. And… there a love triangle too!
