21 year old DU student Ayush Nautiyal murdered in Dwarka for ransom of Rs 50 lakhs

A student of Ram Lal Anand College in South Campus Ayush Nautiyal has been killed by his abductors after a week since he was allegedly kidnapped. Primarily from Garhwal, Uttarakhand Ayush was allegedly kidnapped 7 days ago against a ransom of Rs. fifty lakhs.

The grief stricken family however could arrange only Rs 10 lakhs and had gone to pay the booty to the kidnappers who could not be located but the grievously wounded dead body was found in the nearby drains.

The family who’d reported the matter to the local police on last Thursday have complained of non cooperation and the alleged complacent attitude of the police who had’nt taken much interest to bring the culprits to book.

According to the news pouring in the 21 year old Ayush was kidnapped a week ago after having left his home from Sadh Nagar, Palam for college. When Ayush did’nt reached home, his worried parents lodged the complaint with the local police.

The father received a ransom call from Ayush’s mobile number in the form of a whatsapp message demanding Rs 50 lakhs showing him injured and bound with ropes.

The family however wanted to pay a part of the ransom , Rs 10 lakhs, which they had collected after great efforts and went to the assigned place alongwith the police escort but to their utter shock and dispair they could’nt find the kidnappers. However, after a brief search they were able to trace the dead body of their grievously wounded son.

The abductors who were at large earlier and have now been arrested however the aggrieved parents complained that had the local police been serious and duty bound the life of their son could have been saved and the abductors would have been caught. The spate of crimes in Dwarka area has gone up since long and no efforts whatsoever have been made by the police to bring the situation under control complain the local residents. There’s a shock wave amongst the relatives and near a dear ones of late Ayush’s family who’ve been snatched from them at such a young age.
