Book titled Meera authored by the ailing young author n classical singer Meera Gairola released

The former chief minister of Uttarakhand and MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank released a book titled “Meera” at his residence authored by a dedicated author and a classical singer Meera Gairola in the presence of several writers, few journalists, social activists, regional film artists, theatre actors, singers, musicians and social activists.

Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank congratulated Meera for her dedicated services to the society through her writings and classical singing despite the unfortunate fact that she is on dialysis with both her kidneys non functional.

He also assured her of all possible financial assistence and high class medical aid and prayed to Almighty for her long life.

Each of the invitees praised Meera for her tremendous courage, intellectuality, commitment and dedication for pursuing music, singing and writing with strong will and determination confronting all odds and challenges thus contributing to the society forgetting her prolonged ailing health condition.

The book titled Meera portrays her incessant struggle in pursuing her goals fighting the worst with immense courage and strong will power, thus inspiring one and all to face worst odds cheerfully n with determination in the most challenging situations of life.

I salute her courage dedication, commitment n determination to move ahead despite such a bad health condition said the former chief minister Dr. Nishank.

All those present in the book release function unanimously wished Meera Gairola best of luck, lauded her valuable contribution to the society and prayed to Almighty earnestly for her long n healthy life in future. God bless her with all His might. It may be recalled that there are few other books to Meera Gairola’s credit and she is a promising classical n folk singer as well including her young daughter pursuing classical training.

Prominent amongst those who spoke on the ocassion were literateur Ramesh Ghildiyal, author Meera Gairola, Ajay Bisht, President of Uttarakhand Journalists Forum Sunil Negii, Dr . Priyasi, General Secretary of GHS Dr. Pawan Maithani n President GHS Mohabbat Singh Rana , film director Sushila Rawat etc.

Sunil Negi hails from Uttarakhand and is a veteran journalist and author. He is a prolific writer and has carved a name for himself in the media world. He received the 'Golden Achiever Award' in the '90th AIAC Excellence Awards 2019' for his book ''Havoc in Heaven'' based on the tragedy that struck Uttarakhand in which thousands of people lost their lives. He is also the President of Uttarakhand Journalists Forum and majorly writes on Politics, Current Affairs, and Social Issues.
