BATHAAUN- SUBHERU GHAM to be release at the end of 2019

After the block bustre success of SUBHERU GHAM – a movie in Gharwali dialect in Uttarakhand n various parts of India including Delhi n Mumbai, the Snowy Mountain production is coming up with with a new mega budget movie called SUBHERU GHAM-2 BATHAAUN ( thunder storm) to be released in November December, 2019.

The proprietor of Snowy Mountain that produced Subheru Gham n director, actor Urmi Negi has already chosen serene locations in Garhwal, Uttarakhand n Mumbai with the shooting likely to formally take place in Garhwal from the month of April to be completed in June depending upon the schedule n weather.

This mega budget Garwhali movie would be shot in Kedarnath, Badrinath, Uttarkashi n parts of Pauri Garhwal. The story of BATHAAUN is based on the mass exodus of villagers especially youths from Uttarakhandi villages to cities, towns and metropolises of the country. The movie tries to reverse the trend by giving a message to repatriate to their motherland i. e. Uttarakhand hills. It’s primarily about a man who leaves his village for Mumbai for job n how he finally comes back to settle in his home town realising his mistake.

Urmi Negi’s previous movie Subheru Gham which was made tax free by the Uttarakhand government was based on illicit liquor dens prevalent in Uttarakhand showing how the families became bankrupt there due to the frequent consumption of ilicit liquor finally ,”Kachi Daru Bhattis”, being closed by the women power of Uttarakhand through social pressure.

Urmi’s movies’ are credited with carrying behind social messages considered good for the well being of the society. While her previous film carried the social message of curbing illicit liquor prevalence in the Uttarakhand hills, the incoming movie BATHAAU highlights the problem of PALAYAN and the ways n means to ensure reverse migration.

The songs of the movie (6) in numbers have already been recorded by the eminent male singer of Uttarakhand Narendra Singh Negi n female singer Anuradha Nirala. A Jaagar song by Pritam Bhartwan is likely to be recorded in the near future.

Among other stars the popular comedian actor of Uttarakhand n the Vice Chairman of Uttarakhand Sahitya Parishad Ghananand aka Ghanna bhai is also acting in the movie. The heroine of the movie is Urmi Negi herself whereas the main cast of hero is still a suspense.

It may be recalled that Urmi’s home production SUBHERU GHAM despite being a block bustre Garhwali movie is also credited to have been exhibited in the Canada Film Festival. Urmi has also acted in several Hindi movies like Swami Dada, Sautan etc n in Garhwali films Ghar Jawain, Fyonli, her own film n Kauthig etc apart from acting in Bhojpuri movies as well.
