Last day of parliament witnessed two key opposition protests in the capital

There were two signification anti BJP protests and unity initiatives by all the non BJP opposition parties at New Delhi on the last day of parliament.

While Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, his mother n UPA advisory Council chairperson Sonia Gandhi n former prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh alongwith good number of opposition MPs n leaders protested against the Rafale Jet fighter deal raising anti govt, anti Modi slogans with playcards in their hands at Parliament house precincts near the statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, the AAM ADMI PARTY chief n Delhi Chief minister Arvind Kejrival organised a protest anti govt rally of all the Mahagathbandhan partners at Jantar Mantar attended by good numbers of leaders viz West Bengal CM n Trinamool Congress chief Mamta Bannerjee, RJD leader Tejasvi Yadav, Loktantrik Janata Dal leader Sharad Yadav, CPI’s general secretary D. Raja etc including hundreds of various party supporters including that of AAP donning caps of Aam Aadmi Party.

As the national elections are coming nearer the efforts of the non BJP opposition parties against the BJP led NDA n prime minister Narendra Modi are in full swing with Bengal CM holding a successful Parade ground rally in Kolkatta participated by the leaders of 22 anti BJP opposition parties.

The parliament’s anti Rafale protest demonstration under Rahul Gandhi n Sonia’s leadership n the Mahagathbandhan rally at Jantar Mantar are sequel to those ongoing anti BJP unity initiatives.

The recent most successful rally of Priyanka Gandhi at Lucknow, attended by hundreds of thousands of people n Congress protagonists also speaks of the fact that the anti BJP movement is positively gaining momentum all over the country with opposition forces fully prepared to formidably stop the Modi’s juggernaut, come what may.

Meanwhile amidst immense opposition from the anti BJP parties n to their utter shock n dismay, the CAG report on Rafale has been placed in the upper house Rajya Sabha which claims that the Rafale deal is 2.86 % cheaper than what was formulated by the UPA regime while recommending the Rafale proposal for finalisation with the French govt n company.
