While the entire nation is anxiously looking forward towards the government of India’s efforts n honest initiatives to ensure that wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman reaches back India safely, the latest reports suggest that the Pakistan newspapers are full of news lauding the valour of brave and valiant wing commander who not only with immense dexterity piloted the MIG 16 and gunned downed the latest US made over advanced F16 fighter aircraft of Pakistan but also courageously faced the Pakistan’s Army n Air Force officers keeping every professional secret intact and not answering any question pertaining to the defence or Airforce queries n the mission he was on.

Meanwhile, India has specifically n catagorically asked Pakistan to return back captured Indian pilot n wing commander Abhinandan presently under Pakistan’s captivity, honouring the international Geneva Conventions. It accused Pakistan of creating the war hysteria.

News sources reveal that Abhinandan hailing from the Air Force Family with his father being an ex Indian Air Force veteran Pilot n Air Marshal retired Kumahakutty Varthaman had shown exemplary courage, guts and gumption while in the custody of Pakistan’s Army authorities and has straight away refused to answer any question pertaining to his mission saying that he is not supposed to answer them, come what may.

It may be recalled that yesterday morning on 26th Febuary at 10.30 AM when about 12 Fighter planes from Pakistan’s Rawalpindi n Lahore took off and flew towards Kashmir in a bid to attack the Indian military installations in Jammu n Kashmir n Pathankot etc breaching Indian LOC without any provocation n arbitrarily, the two SU’s n a MIG 16 piloted by Abhinandan compelled Pakistan fighters who’d bombed inside Indian territory near military installations to return back in haste finally destroying the Pak F16 through the missile attack from his MIG 16.

During the operation while the F16 was fully destroyed, the wreckage of which fell inside the Pakistan territory in Lam Valley the pilot of the India MIG 16 which also crashed in the ariel engagement landed in one of the Pakistan’s village.

News reports reveal that after the landing in one of the Pak village wing commander Abhinandan enquired from the people gathered around as where he is ?

When he was told that he’s in Pakistan, Abhinandan was bit worried. When the local crowd came to learn that he’s an Indian soldier they started hitting him repeatedly resulting in injuries on his face with blood oozing out from the wounds. Abhinandan was also shot in his leg says the Harron Village chief of Pakistan as per news reports.

Though the pilot tried to use his pistol to push them back by firing in the air but it was perhaps snatched. Meanwhile some of the Pakistan rangers n a captain reached the spot who rescued him.

It is learnt that after knowing that he is in Pakistan, Abhinandan threw the secret papers relating to the mission in the nearby lake/ pond to conceal the details n swalloed some of them.

After being rescued he was taken blindfolded to a secluded place and questioned in a friendly manner. But during questioning except responding to some personal questions he did’nt answer a single query pertaining to his professional secrets n the mission he was on.

Meanwhile the government of India has in very specific n clear terms asked Pakistan to hand over wing commander Abhinandan to the Indian government honouring the established Geneva Conventions saying that no wrong or criminal had been committed by the MIG 16 pilot.

The government has also handed over the dossier to Pak govt giving the minutest of the details of the JEM chief Azhar Masood and Hafeez Sayeed n details about the training camps n terrorists asking to handover them to India for their despicable deadliest murders in Mumber n Kashmir, at the earliest.
