Super star of the Millenium’, as rated and pronounced, Amitabh Bachchan is extremely active in social media especially in his Twitter handle.

He is very particular in posting his every activity pertaining to his films, the new films he is acting in and the roles he will be paying. He never forgets to post the shooting locations and his different pictures which usually become viral on Facebook. Amitabh is an outstanding personality rated as the ‘living legend’ who has the top most and highest ratings as one of the most popular filmstars as well as some of the highly iconic personalities of the country.

One would be surprised and shocked to know that this super star of the millenium after Rajesh Khanna whom he trounced after seventies by working with him in several super duper hit movies Amitabh has tremendous respect for Rajesh Khanna aka Kaka who till seventies and eighties was the most loved and adored superstar of the Mumbai film industry termed as God of Indian films just as Sachin was in cricket.

Amitabh Bachchan who has so far acted in about 226 films and is still active despite having crossed 75 years of age on silver screen and literally dominating the advertisement industry of the country has 3.70 crores followers on his Twitter account. WOW.

Amitabh’s ten films had been super duper hits that gave him the status of a superstar after Rajesh Khanna who breathed his last in 2012. Amitabh’s ten top films that gave him special recognition as the super star and angry young man in Bollywood after Rajesh Khanna are Anand (1971), Zanjeer (1973), Deewar (1975), Sholey (1975) Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), Agnipath (1990), Shakti (1982), Black (2005), Paa (2009), Piku (2015).

Just yesterday, Amitabh Bachchan has posted some old and fascinating pictures with his two famous co-stars Rajesh Khanna and Shashi Kapoor in his Twitter handle inviting the attention of media.

While posting the pictures of Rajesh Khanna and Shashi Kapoor his old and very loving co-stars with whom he gained momentum and success,  Amitabh tweeted, “When you get a freak off day from your busy schedule that works you non stop eternally, you never know what to do as I did nothing and reminisced the old days!”

This gesture of Amitabh Bachchan unambiguously gives the impression that this veteran actor and heartthrob of billions in India and abroad has a special soft corner for these two actors who are now no more with us. They not only  led to Amitabh’s flawless progress in Bollywood but also inspired him to the core.

It may be recalled that Amitabh Bachchan co-starred with Rajesh Khanna, the superstar of yesteryears in the most popular and super-duper hit movies like Namak Haraam and Anand during the 70s. With eminent actor Shashi Kapoor, he acted in Suhaag, Deewar, Silsila, Trishul, Kabhie-Kabhie, Shaan and Iman Dharm etc which were all blockbuster on the Box Office.

These days Amitabh Bachchan is active in the shooting of a new movie called Gulabo Sitabo in Lucknow.

His new look as a white bearded old man of Lucknow is in the headlines these days. Amitabh’s role was so unique that he was not even recognized by the local people in Lucknow during the shooting. The star working with Amitabh in this movie is Ayushman Khurana.

In addition to this movie, Amitabh is also acting in another movie namely Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

The very first actor of the silver screen Rajesh Khanna aka Kaka, the first and original Superstar of Bollywood had acted in over 225 films during his film career of forty protracted years. His solo films must be about 170 in numbers.
