Atif Aslam, a talented young Pakistani playback singer, and actor, known for his vocal modulation technique. Atif predominantly sings in Urdu/ Hindi as well as Punjabi and also sung in Bengali. He has received numerous awards including the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (2008), the fourth-highest decoration given to civilians in Pakistan.

Atif’s first album Jal Pari was released on 17 July 2004, which was an instant hit. Jal Pari was the “Best Selling Album of the Year” for two consecutive years, 2004 and 2005. His first breakthrough in Bollywood was offered by director Mahesh Bhatt when he took consent from Aslam to include “Woh Lamhey” in his movie, Zeher (2005). After the huge success of Jal Pari, Atif released two more solo albums, Doorie, and Meri Kahani and four songs from the album Doorie were featured in two films.
