Two Indian Companies Are Offering Paid ‘Menstrual Leave’ For All Their Females Employees

Mumbai, July10: With women’s productivity at work decreasing during the first two days of their period, these two Indian companies have decided to give their females employees a paid leave.

With the advent of social media, creates debates, sharing poignant social media posts along with a variety of content produced by an individuals began addressing the acceptance of menstruation and difficulties associated with it.

A Mumbai based digital media company “Culture Machine” recently launched a video in which they surprised their female employees with the good news.

Culture Machine has also started a petition online addressed to the Minister of Human Resource Development Prakash Javadekar and the Minister of Women and Child Development Maneka Gandhi, asking for a leave policy to be implemented across the nation.

Another digital marketing organisation Gozoop, announced to give a paid leave to all their female employees on the firstday of their period.
