1. Prestige Group: The prestige group was established in the year 1986. Presently, it is one of the largest property developers in India having worked for 30 years. The company has worked on more than 200 projects to date. It is responsible for developing many projects across the country like residential, commercial, leisure, and hospitality projects. The multiple projects undertaken by the Group include villas, plotted developments, presidential apartments, etc. They have received FIABCI Award for its software and residential facilities. The group also has a Crisil DA1 Developer Rating for the timely delivery of quality projects. The notable projects include the Forum Mall in Bangalore, commercial spaces in Chennai namely Cyber Towers, Palladium and Polygon, residential projects like Lakeside Habitat in Bangalore, and Neptunes Courtyard in Kochi. Lakeside Habitat located at Varthur and Neptunes Courtyard located at Marine Drive are also worth the mention

2. DLF Universal Limited: DLF Universal Limited was founded by Ch. Raghvendra Singh in 1946. That is before the independence of India. It is the largest and the oldest and has almost 7 decades of name and fame to its name. The head office is based in Haryana and 15 other offices across India. The company is chaired by Dr. Kushal Pal Singh. They have some of the mega real estate projects in India under their belt including DLF Cyber City in Gurgaon, India’s first luxury mall Emporio, and Capital Greens (Delhi). DLF is also India’s first property developer to get ISO certification in 2014. Residential development and sales have always been their primary focus. These include integrated townships, houses, villas, luxury, and high-end residential projects.

3. Unitech: Unitech was founded in 1971 as United Limited. It was changed to Unitech much later. It was started primarily as a consultancy firm that evolved into a real estate developers company gradually. New Delhi houses their headquarters while they have offices across the country. 

They have more than 100 projects to speak of their fame. Large-scale residential projects are their forte with thousands of homes, hotels, malls, and schools. Some of their known projects are Karma Lakelands, Nirvana Country 1 and 2 in Gurgaon, and Vista Villas in Greenwood City. The company is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company. They have also won the Global CSR Excellence and Leadership Award for Corporate Social Responsibility in 2013 and ranked as the “Superbrand” by Superbrand India in 2009.

4. Ansal API: Ansal API was founded in 1967 and is very well-known for its large-scale township projects. It is also one of the oldest developers’ companies in India! It was founded by the nasal family and has always been a family-owned business. The company is chaired by Mr. Sushil Ansal. He was graced with the Developer of the Year Award in 2015 along with several other awards by Realty Plus, BAM Awards, CSR Excellence Awards, and etc. Ansal API has always undertaken very large-scale residential projects, but they have developed all types of other infrastructure projects. Some of their known projects include Sushant golf city, Lucknow, Tolstoy House, New Delhi, etc.
