Tallest Coriander Plants In The World Organically Grown In Ranikhet, Uttarakhand

The Limca Book of Records has registered G. S. Organic Apple Farm, situated in the village Bilekh in Ranikhet, Uttarakhand, owned by a brilliant and enthusiastic entrepreneur and social activist Gopal Upreti for growing a more than 6 feet 1-inch tall Coriander plant thus likely to make a world record as well.

It is said that usually, the coriander plants grow up to 2 to 4 feet in height at the most but in this case, it seems to have broken all records globally as well by growing the organic coriander plants to an unbelievable height of more the 1.85 metres in Bilekh, Ranikhet, Uttarakhand. After having been successfully recorded and registered in the Limca Book of Records and feeling elated, the owner of G. S. Organic Apple Farm Bilekh, Ranikhet, Uttarakhand and a brilliant farmer Gopal Upreti has applied to the Guinness Book of World Records with all the relevant documents for them to recognize his outstanding achievement in order to grant him a world record official recognition for growing 1. 85 metres high, the tallest coriander plant in the world.

According to the chief Horticulture officer of district Almora, namely T N Pandey there has been a tremendous production of Coriander in their district but the way GS Organic Apple Farm situated in Ranikhet Billekh has grown Coriander plants of a record height globally, it has surprised one and all. The horticulture officer revealed that they have never witnessed such tall organic coriander plants in Uttarakhand. He was highly optimistic that these organic high altitude coriander plants will definitely establish a world record in the near future.

If a world record is really established by the aforesaid firm gaining recognition in the Guinness Book of World Records then it would be a matter of imminent pride for the entire state of Uttarakhand. Similarly the scientist from Vivekanand Parvatiya Agricultural Research Institute, Almora Ganesh Choudhary, after measuring the height of the coriander plants grown by Gopal Upreti and his firm, was highly surprised and elated as before he had never seen such outstanding growth of coriander plants gaining more than 6.1 feet height. According to much elated Gopal Upreti, after being recognized by the Limca Book of Records, the prestigious Guinness Book of World Record has invited him to apply with relevant documents to be included in world records after adequate examination. He added that his efficient team has grown these organic coriander plants without using any reserve technology and under the open sky, naturally, making a record of sorts. It has neither grown them in poly houses nor sprinkled any chemicals.

According to the latest feedback the world record of coriander plant’s height is recorded at 1.8 metres whereas in this case its 1.85 metres, breaking the world record. According to Gopal Upreti, he is fully confident that his organic coriander plants’ growth measuring more than 6.1 feet height each will fetch the world record status in Guinness Book of World Records thus creating a new record in the history of organic agriculture in Uttarakhand.
