Columbia Asia Hospital Launches ‘Gratitude Campaign’
Columbia Asia Hospital launches “Gratitude Campaign” to applaud the extraordinary work by frontline workers during the pandemic
Columbia Asia Hospital Expresses Gratitude to COVID Warriors
Over the last few months, during the tough phase of the COVID 19 pandemic, healthcare workers have stood strong as the frontline warriors, being fearless and persistent. They were focused and dedicated to understanding the problem, getting trained, and treating the patients despite their own safety concerns. These frontline workers have toiled day and night in the hospital forgoing the comfort of their family just to ensure smiling patients.
In response to their tireless support, Columbia Asia Hospital has launched a three-month-long “Gratitude Campaign” to thank all the COVID Warriors of the hospital for their dedication and commitment against the COVID 19 fight. This campaign is aimed at reaching out to all caregivers and support teams of Columbia Asia Hospital, from doctors to the support staff working behind the scenes to ensure the patients get all the support required during these difficult times.
The campaign will be launched across all units and promoted through social media and hospital websites. The hospital is also encouraging the patients to share their stories and experience with Columbia Asia’s frontline workers during their fight against COVID 19. Badges will be given to each COVID warrior as a token of appreciation and respect for their work.
Speaking about the compassion and perseverance by the hospital staff, Dr. Nandakumar Jairam, CEO, Chairman, and Group Medical Director, Columbia Asia Hospitals India said, “The outbreak of COVID 19 has posed unprecedented challenges in the last few months. Throughout this time, our staff and medical fraternity ensured that everyone received the required support and timely treatment. There was a spontaneous effort to quickly and efficiently diagnose and treat, in spite of the risk to their own selves. We at Columbia Asia Hospitals wish to thank each of our frontline workers for their unhindered support, commitment, and dedication towards treating patients during this pandemic”.
To support and encourage all their staff, Columbia Asia Hospital has already taken the initiative of providing COVID insurance to all employees on a roll, special financial allowances and a personalized thank you letter from the CEO to the COVID Warriors families. Along with these initiatives, the hospital has also created special quarantine centers for staff who had traveled from outstations and reported back to work and provides complete care to the staff who were infected by the virus.
