I have had the priviledge of hearing and meeting him few months ago in one of the meetings of the GFI and National Green Alliance at Lodhi Estate in New Delhi and was highly impressed and influenced by his matured views on environment and his initiative to nurture green politics in India.

After the sad demise of a sane activist and a journalistic of repute Maqbool Bhatt, while Kashmir and the nation has lost a conscientious scribe and a fighter for peoples’ cause, the journalistic fraternity has lost a trusted friend, a sane voice and a genuine colleague who stood with everybody in their thick and thin.
