LYNCHING IS THE RESULT OF FRUSTRATION OUT OF UNEMPLOYMENT SAYS VASUNDHARA RAJE TO TV 18

In an interview given to the news channel TV 18, the flamboyant chief minister of Rajasthan who,ve already been declared the face of the next state elections likely to be held at the end of this year despite her not being in so good terms and relations with national party chief Amit Shah, emphatically says that lynchings are the world wide phenomena and nothing new.

Such incidents have been taking place elsewhere for long. Without a sense of slightest of remorse or repentence for the bereaved families of the victims of these lynchings, Vasundhara Raje tries to skip herself of the responsibility to curb these deadly incidents or counter them by saying as to how could a chief minister be a God like figure likely to know what is happenning in a remotest part of her state at the midnight trying to say that how can she be responsible for the act of others.

What makes her position more worse as the chief minister of a BJP ruled state is the fact that she herself puts her own government and the BJP led NDA government at the centre under question when she replies to the TV 18’s correspondent by shifting the entire blame of lynching of the innocents on the increasing frustration of the youngsters of the state due to their not getting jobs resulting in their going heywire and adopting criminal means like lynchings .

What a dramatic explanation to cover her government’s and its law enforcing agencies’ inefficiency, incompetence and rather open complicity with the criminals and murderers of the innocents?

If a chief minister of a state tries to really get rid of such shameful and outrageous lynching incidents in her own state under the guise of the global phenomena and due to the frustration of the younger generations for not getting jobs, it’s not only extremely uncalled for but also an exercise to put her own state government and the union government in the dock, unambiguously referring or meaning that the state and the central governments of the saffron party have failed on the employment generation front absolutely, as the opposition in the state and at the national level are criticizing them since long and that Vasundhata Raje is vindicating them ( the non BJP opposition) outrightly.

Whole world knows that the Congress and its allies are already condemning the PM and the BJP led NDA government for not fulfilling the pre election promises of giving two crore jobs every year to the country’s youth and are also slamming the saffron party on the most sensitive issue of lynchings.

It may be recalled that the state of Rajasthan has so far witnessed two lynchings in the name of cow vigilantism, one of Pehlu Khan and another of Rakbar Khan of Mewat district of Haryana by seven persons supposed to be the religios bigots resulting in national outrage.

Both the victims belonged to the minority community. Altogether during the last four years more than thirty cases of such lynchings have occured in various parts of the country in the name of cow vigilantism and the child lifting. It is believed that the majority of those lynched are from the minority community.

The state of Rajasthan is likely to go to polls in the end of this year alongwith Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh including Jharkhand state where the BJP is ruling for more than two terms and anti incumbency seems to be the key factor likely to be exploited by the opposition to its advantage. The incidents of lynchings are making the situation more worse for them especially amongst the minorities and the Dalits of the country.
