The law of the land is same for everybody irrespective of his or her status. The police and law enforcing agencies do their respective jobs as the custodian of law and order and safeguarding the rights of citizens of the country and if during the conduction of their duties any person or politician irrespective of his influence or political clout misbehaves or goes to the extent of allegedly grabbing the collar of a senior police officer in uniform and also gives him the threat or warning of DEKH LUNGA/ will see in the near future, then what would you say?

Should that influential politician or the MP or the state party chief be allowed to go scot free. If it is so then why not the other erring citizens or the wrong doers who transgress the law of the land and commit illegal acts called criminalism or crime go scot free question people of Delhi.

The shameful incident hapened the other day at the venue of the inauguration of the Signature Bridge in East Delhi which has been caught on the camera by the Indian Express photo journalist unambiguously exhibiting the East Delhi MP and the Delhi BJP chief also a prominent Bhojpuri singer Manoj Tiwari arguing and taking his hand at the collar of a senior Delhi police officer who tried hard to intervene in the scuffle between the BJP MP and the AAP lawmaker n workers.

While the East Delhi MP was involved in the scuffle with AAP lawmaker and the volunteers including going to the shocking extent of catching the collar of a Police officer, one AAP MLA has also been seen pushing the BJP MP in one of the vedios.

What is surprising about this whole episode is that one of the Delhi BJP leaders’ Jagdish Mamgain has posted the Indian Express pic of Delhi BJP President n MP holding the collar of the police officer in his twitter handle and tweeted in Hindi: SHAMEFUL, BJP KE KAARYAKARTA VA SWAYAM SEVAK TO AISA NAHI KARTE , MUKHYA SACHIV SE DURVYAVHAAR PAR MUKHYAMANTRI VA VIDHAYAKON SAMET 13 LOGON KE KHILAAF MUKADMA CHALAAYA JATA HAI. SAANSAD MANOJ TIWARI ADHIKARI KA GIRBAAN PAKADTE HAIN, POLICE PAR HAMLA KAR, SARKAARI KAAMKAAZ PAR BAADHA PAHUNCHAATE HAIN,SABAK SIKHAANE KI DHAMKI DETE HAIN, LG GRAHMANTRI VA POLICE ADHIKARI KOI KARYAWAHI NAHI KARTE, KYA KANOON SABKE LIYE BARABAR NAHI HAI.

The english version of the Delhi BJP leader Jagdish Mamgain’s tweet is: SHAMEFUL, Atleast the BJP workers and RSS volunteers don’t do like this. On the misconduct of the Chief minister and the MLAs cases against both of them n 13 persons were registered. The MP Manoj Tiwari catches hold of the Police Officers collar, creates bottleneck in the govt work by attacking the police, threatens of teaching them the lesson. The LG, Home Minister and the police officers don’t take any action. Is the law not equal for everybody.

It may be recalled that the Signature bridge having been completed with the total escalated cost of Rs. more than 1500 crores was started in 2004 during the prvious Congress govt CM Shiela Dikshit’s tenure and was to be completed before the Common Wealth Games in 2009/ 10 but got delayed due to one reason of the other finally completed in 2018. The BJP Delhi chief who is the MP from East Delhi Manoj Tiwari claims that he had also contributed by way of getting Rs 32 crores sanctioned in this project but was not called even being the local MP by the AAP govt against the established norms and protocol. He accused the AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan of pushing and heckling him and said that would send him to jail terming the attack as unfortunate in the political history of Delhi. He was speaking to India Today TV on 4th November.
