The Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee chief and former union minister Ajay Maken ridiculed and also strongly condemned the chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejrival for calling the special session of the Delhi assembly not for discussing peoples’ genuine problems of their welfare or the increasing law n order, inflation or problems related transportation etc but to discuss as to why and how he was allegedly attacked by a stranger with chilli powder.

Castigating the Delhi CM and AAP party government the furious Congress chief Ajay Maken said while addressing a Congress convention at Karol Bagh, Delhi that Kejrival’s only agenda is to take or derive maximum political milieage out of non issues but never seemed concerned for real issues of the grass roots’ people and the Delhites.

He added that it really sounds ridiculous that the Delhi chief minister is least concerned towards the serious issues of the capital like deteriorating environmental condition of Delhi where people are not able to respirate properly for want of clean environment, where life span of Delhites has reduced due to heavy polution, where there is lack of 15000 buses in Delhi transport corporation leading to immense hardships to commuters and alleged closure of 122 dispensaries etc but convenes an emergency special session to discuss the non serious Chilli powder issue.

He added that whether it was the issue of the fake certificate of one of his ministers or cases like alleged attack on his bureaucrats by his own lawmaker or issues like chilli powder spray attack etc, special house of the assembly was convened from time to time but the real issues concerning the health and welfare of Delhites were never discussed in the house nor special session convened for them.

Strongly condemning this individualistic and dictatorial attitude of Delhi CM Ajay Makan said that special assembly session should always be convened to discuss burning issues pertaining to peoples’ welfare and public interest, not for individual issues to derive maximum political milieage as being done by the Delhi CM and AAP party gpvernment.
Sounds ridiculous and shocking said Ajay Maken.

It may be recalled that the AAP party government led by Arvind Kejrival has done a remarkable job in health sector as well as in the educational arena of Delhi with upgradation of all the government hospitals and schools including free treatment in private hospitals as well as free distribution of medicines componded with opening of several polyclinics.

About 30000 litres of drinking water is free in Delhi and the power tarrifs have also been considerably reduced including regularisation of the services of the adhoc teachers as well increase in the unskilled and skilled labors’ salaries etc.

A major part of the Delhi Congress vote bank including the vote bank of the minorities, people residing in JJ Clusters, unauthorised colonies and JJ clusters have shifted towards AAP making the Congress party devoid of its traditional vote bank but despite all this youthful Ajay Maken has been trying his level best to take on the AAP.

But political analysts predict that if the Congress and the AAP really want to counter BJP in Delhi they both will have to come together and contest the Delhi elections jointly as the combined vote bank of BJP n Congress in Delhi is still more then the total vote bank of 35% of the BJP. What’s your take friends?
