Amazfit X: Huami’s newest smartwatch
Amazfit X is the new-new-gen smartwatch we all need and should have. Amazfit X is launched by Huami, a Xiaomi-backed brand. It is quite a stunner to look at. It flaunts a curved AMOLED display screen which oozes class and comfort. Unlike some other brands of smartwatches, Amazfit X lacks physical buttons. Instead, it relies on the touch screen and the pressure-sensitive side to use the device. The user-interface looks smooth and that is also guaranteed by Huami. This new offering by Huami tracks the heart rate 24×7. Furthermore, it also monitors sleep and measures blood oxygen levels.

The most phenomenal feature of the Amazfit X fitness band is its 2.07-inch curved AMOLED display. It is a long, curved color screen with a 92-degree arc. According to Huami, it is designed to display as much information as possible without the need to scroll along. It is complete with a resolution of 206×640 pixels, 400 nits of peak brightness, and a sufficiently high pixel density of 326ppi. The device also comes with a 5 ATM water resistance guarantee as well.
The frame of the device is made out of metal. The frame also hides and protects a pressure-sensitive sensor on the side. It is used to identify gestures to use to UI. The battery, a 200mAh li-polymer battery, lasts 7 days. Or so it is claimed. We’ll have to see that for ourselves when we get our hands on it. The connectivity is sorted through Bluetooth 5.0 whereas GPS and GLONASS handles positioning. Amazfit X is complete with a PPG heart rate monitor, accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor, and a blood oxygen saturation sensor. Oooh! A big player in the house!

The Amazfit X price:
The new Huami Amazfit X is available only through Indiegogo, a crowdfunding platform. Crowdfunding is an unusual approach for a company with a long history of launching devices through more traditional paths. But they want to establish a good strong connection with the tech-seekers first before setting a worldwide link. This is a way to get some reliable first-hand feedback.
The prices differ for the buyers. For the early birds, it is priced at Rs 11,300. While the special Amazfit X costs 13,500. The regular price, though, is in the range of Rs 25,000. The Amazfit X is set to be shipped worldwide around August 2020. The color options for the buyers to choose between are Eclipse Black and New Moon Gold.
