Another journalist slain in Mohali Punjab alongwith the 92 year old mother

In yet a third case of a brutal murder of a journalist in a row after the despicable cold blooded killing of Gauri Lankesh in Bengaluru followed by the murder of 28 year Shantanu Bhowmick in Tripura, the dead bodies of 65 year old veteran journalist KJ Singh and his 92 year old mother at their residence in Mohali on Saturday with their throat slit were found by the police. KJ Singh was a retired journalist having worked as new editor in Times of India, The Daily Tribune and Indian Express. Everybody is shocked and stunned to hear about the mysterious grusome murder of mother son duo and the reason or motive behind the murder is yet to be established according to the Mohali police. Sounds highly worrisome and shocking that just in a months time three incidents of barbaric murders of journalists have taken place with not a single culrit having been caught till date despite so much of outrage. Uttarakhand Journalists Forum condemns this brutal act of cold blooded murders and urge upon the state authorities to bring the culprits to justice at the earliest.
