Apex Court to hear Swamy’s plea on Ayodhya dispute next week

The apex court has finally agreed to listen to the plea of BJP leader Subramanian Swamy as to why Ayodhya Temple dispute matters should be heard on a day to day basis.

A bench comprising of Chief Justice T S Thakur and Justice A R Dave listed the pleas of swamy for next week after he requested an urgent hearing in the case.

Ramaswamy told to the media that the matter has already been pending for quite a long time of over five and a half years, it should be heard on day to day basis and he has already impleaded in the case related to the construction Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

This is a sophisticated matter which might become crucial to some political parties as election un Uttar Pradesh are also about to come and all political parties will try to use this hearing to the best possible way.

On 26th February, the apex court allowed Swamy to intervene in the pending case relating to the Ayodhya Temple dispute. In his please he has asked the court to allow construction of Ram Mandir at the demolished site.

Swamy has also mentioned in plea that under the practices prevalent in Islamic Countries, a mosque can be shifted to any other place for public purposes like constructing road, whereas according to Hindu rituals temple once constructed cannot be touched.

He had also pleaded that the matter should be expedite the disposal of several petitions challenging the Allahabad High Court verdict of three way division of the disputed Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid in Ayodhya on September 30th, 2010.
