IIM Campus Offer Got Withdrawn!

“I am unable to find a job, my IIM campus offer got withdrawn”

He had done his MBA from an IIM, had no prior work experience, got a campus job, but lost his job offer due to the pandemic.

The market has taken a strange turn, where MBA grads are not being seen favorably. Probably the reasons could be large companies are not hiring as much, & startups are preferring experience over qualifications.

So many IIM graduates are struggling through the same.

Imagine the student’s plight after spending over 2 million Indian rupees & 2 years of MBA they are finding it tough to find jobs.

Just by making work experience a mandatory entry criterion, this situation could be avoided. At least they could have landed jobs based on their work experience prior to MBA.

Almost 50% of the MBA grads even today have never worked.

Wonder how will they ever understand management & business?
