The BSP supremo , four time MP n theice the chief minister in UP with the help of the saffron party BJP Behan Mayawati has once agains made her intentions clear in an Ambedkar Nagar rally that she’s going to contest the parliament election and go for the post of prime minister obviously if the numbers permit her post elections.

Always over ambitious for the top slot of the country Behan Mayawati’s has been eying on the top central post since long but of no avail.

However, her unambiguous declaration of her committed intention have raised the eyebrows of many in the anti BJP grand alliance. Having strategically sidelined the Congress party from the BSP, SP , RLD alliance in UP and merely leaving only two seats for Congress including spitting of venom against it holding it at equal par with BJP as their political enemy number one, clever BSP supremo Mayawati had already convinced SP’s Akhilesh Yadav that post elections if numbers suffice it would be she not him who will aspire for the prime minister’s post from amongst the candidates of Mahagathbandhan.

And Akhilesh Yadav had already anbounced of his clear intentions of confining himself in state politics n supporting Bua Mayawati for the top slot of the country. There is no doubt that barring leaders n chief minister WB n TMC chief Mamata Bannerjee Congress party and its chief Rahul Gandhi is the number one choice of the Mahagathbandhan as Congress is the largest and oldest national party of the country with govts in several states.

It may probably bring maximum number of seats as the single largest party post national election. But Uttar Pradesh being the largest state having total 80 seats the BSP, SP, RLD combine is more relevant politically as on date and therefore over ambitious Mayawati will leave no stone unturned to ensure that she being a Dalit and a woman is sworn in as the nation’s prime minister in case the numbers allow to do so. It may be recalled that the BSP, SP, RLD alliance is contesting on 78 seats in UP with Mayawati on 38, RLD on 2 seats n Akhilesh Yadav’s SP on rest of the 40 seats.

The Bhartiya Janata Party which ridicules Mayawati’s ambition to be the future PM saying that she has every right to dream even at day time, had won 73 seats in UP in 2013 with two seats by Apna Dal, a regional political outfit. The newly formed BSP, SP, RLD Gathbandhan in UP hopes to get more than 40 seats thus giving a huge blow to BJP. The Congress may get 5 seats at the most predict political analysts. This means that from UP itself the saffron party may go down tremendously not to speak of the drubbing it mayface from other Souther and hindi heartland states where the Congress may improve considerably.

The Congress chief Rahul Gandhi has already unambiguously said in the media that it is ready to even sacrifice the post of prime minister in order to keep BJP out of power. Political analysts say that BJP supremo Mayawati has laddoos in both her hands. She may hobnob with both the camps viz the BJP led NDA and the Congress led Mahagathbandhan and whichever political conglomeration suits her comfortably she may go with it.

Under such circumstances the anti BJP led grand alliance may be compelled to submit to her pressure say sources. However it all depends on the numbers and the quantam of seats bagged by her alliance in Uttar Pradesh. Moreover, the institution of several serious cases of dissproportionate assests, apex courts orders to Mayawati for deposition of 4000 crores to the government n other cases makes it mandatory for her to be either with the ruling party at the centre withher support of herself govern at the helm. What’s your take friends?
