For building and EV ecosystem NITI Aayog’s Shoonya campaign is driving awareness with the goal of achieving 100% electrification in the last-mile delivery and ride-hailing sectors. Shoonya acts as a catalyst for a broader shift toward widespread electric vehicle adoption in India.

It aims to inspire individuals and the industry to generate demand for zero-pollution rides and deliveries by complementing national and subnational electrification efforts. ZEWAY Mobility is proud to be associated with Niti Ayog and Royal Mountain Institute since 2021 to 100% electrifying transport in India.

Through this association ZEWAY Mobility is creating awareness at the ground level in Delhi NCR & Lucknow  and also committed to provide the users with a safe, easy, and convenient mode of travel.

Shoonya Forum 2024

Building on the success of the first Shoonya Forum in September 2022 and to highlight the progress and success over the last 2.5 years, NITI Aayog was hosted the second annual Shoonya Forum on 4^th April 2024.

This was with the objectives to highlight Success Stories and Corporate Commitments, achievements and progress made during the 2+ years of the Shoonya campaign and emphasize the corporate partner’s unwavering commitments to electrification.

Leverage the collaborative nature of the campaign to draw a roadmap for 100% electrification of ride-hailing and delivery sectors by 2030 and new awareness activities that will enhance the promotion and adoption of electric vehicles.

In this Shoony Forum Mr. Om Prakash – Sr. Advisor at ZEWAY shares his company’s vision for electrifying transport in India and recognized as a Digital Shoonya Pioneer.

Sharing the news Mr. Om Prakash said: “ We will add 3500 E-Bikes and 700 EV Charging station by March 2025. Also we are looking to provide 200 E-Bikes to female delivery executives in Delhi NCR who can earn their livelihoods and make them independent to support their family.

Also deploy 300 EV Charging stations to Educational Institutions, Tourism Places and Civic Bodies in the FY 2024/25. We are committed to deploy 10000 E-Bikes in the next two financial years which will help 8,000 Gig workers to earn their livelihoods.”

He also said that – “this endorses the vision of ZEWAY and gives us motivation to keep up the pace & zeal with which we are working. We thank both NITI Aayog and Rocky Mountain Institute who share our vision to make India pollution free.”
