Eminent singer of Uttarakhand Rekha Dhasmana Uniyal is now out of danger in Fortis hospital

The renowned singer of Uttarakhand felicitated by several recognitions for her melodious and mesmerising singing Rekha Dhasmana Uniyal suffered a massive heart attack on Monday evening at her Dehradun residence and was immediately rushed to Coronation vicinity Fortis Hospital where she was administered emergency cardiac treatment by senior cardiac surgeons.

The condition of Rekha Dhasmana Uniyal is now out of danger and is convalescing in the private hospital under the regular medical care and monitoring of the cardiac surgeons.

According to the husband of renowned Uttarakhandi singer, Rakesh Uniyal, Rekha Dhasmana Uniyal complained of severe chest pain on Monday night at 10.00 PM and was immediately rushed to Fortis hospital where she was addmitted in the ICU.

She was treated minutely for the whole day in Fortis by senior cardiologists and her condition is now slated to be under control and out of danger.

The chief secretary of Uttarakhand government Radha Raturi and the Director General of Uttarakhand police Anil Raturi visited her in Fortis hospital and learnt about her well being.

They also directed the senior cardiologists to take special care of the eminent singer of Uttarakhand.

It may be recalled that Rekha Dhasmana Uniyal is pronounced as the outstanding melodious singer of Uttarakhand who had sung hundreds of songs in various Uttarakhand’s socio cultural and musical shows in the country as well as abroad.

She carries behind her a mass fan following in millions. Her recent songs Dharti Hamaaru Garhwalu ki ( the land of our Garhwal, Nyu Nyu Byo chu ( new marriage) and Narangi ki daani ( the small orange ) etc have been super duper hits with the music CDs sold in millions.

She sung these songs with eminent male singer of Uttarakhand Narendra Singh Negi surpassing all music records.

Three years’ ago her mesmerising song describing the nature and beauty of Garhwal Himalayas AAVA LOGO, JHAANKI DEKHA, HAMARA GARHWAL KI ( COME PEOPLE, WATCH THE BEAUTY OF GARHWAL HIMALAYAS) was extremely popular, super duper hit and talk of the town.
