Father and son duo shot dead in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh

A video about a broad day light murder of a father and a son is going viral in social media.

According to latest news reports the father son duo were murdered in a broad day light today by two gun holding persons in the fields of Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh. Sources reveal that a SP leader Chotelal and his son were shot dead today in broad day light with shouts and abuses in the background.

It seems that the onlookers shot the videos and later on posted these in social media. This broad day light murder has sent shock waves in entire Uttar Pradesh with anti BJP parties expressing their shock and blaming Yogi government and the police authorities for allegedly being incompetent in maintaining law and order and terming it as Jungle Raj prevalent in UP. There has been commotion all around and the police reached the murder spot after inordinate delay with hundreds of shocked people gathered around.

The Samajwadi party leaders have blamed the ruling party for failing to maintain law and order in the state and allegedly held it responsible for patronizing the murderers who openly waved their rifles before killing the father son duo hailing from Samajwadi party without any fear of law. Latest reports suggest that the murder is the result of the road being constructed/leveled by mud under government sponsored MNREGA scheme. The wife of the deceased Chotelal of Samajwadi party is the duly elected Pradhan of the area and the murderers were caught in the video, who were badly angered, furious and against this on-going project. The work of the road leveling by mud was being looked after by Chotelal on behalf of his Pradhan wife.

The repercussions of this broad day light murder were so terrible that the Inspector General of police and police superintendent reached the spot to take stock of the latest situation. The killers are still at large, though have been unambiguously identified after the video went viral in social media. The tragedy has occurred under Bahjoi police station of Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. It is believed that the murder was committed while heated arguments were in progress between the Samajwadi party leader Chotelal, his son and the killers.
