FIR against an Uttarakhand minister n 20 others lodged for physically assaulting the Chowki incharge in Kashipur

Sounds ironical and shocking as well that a minister of education in Uttarakhand having proudly affixed Chowkidar ahead of his name in his twitter handle alongwith millions of other hard core saffron party protagonists physically assault’s a Thanedar of his area in Uttarakhand alongwith his illegal mining contractors in broad daylight as the concerned station house officer has caught them in the illegal act of mining n confiscated their dumpers n other machines.

Everybody know that the election campaigning is in full swing in the five lok sabha constituencies in Uttarakhand as in other parts of the country, with both the Congress Party n BJP in particular, accusing each other of various allegations of impropriety, corruption n non performance on various fronts.

There is the strict code of conduct having been implemented by the election commission, forbidding the govt machinery n the political leaders including ministers, MP’s, MLAs to strictly adhere to the the election commission norms and avoid unlawful actions n activities.

But this shameful incident of the cabinet minister namely Arvind Pandey allegedly having been involved in hitting n physically assaulting a police officer on Duty has raised alarm n shocked the peace loving people of the state.

As per the latest news pouring in the police has registered cases under various sections against the Uttarakhand education minister Arvind Pandey n 10 others involved in this incident of abuses, threatening and physically thrashing of a police officer on duty.

According to the news published in various papers of Uttarakhand n breaking news on various news television channels the incident occured in Kashipur where an inspector of the police post was gheraoed by the mining mafias after the concerned police post incharge has objected to the large scale illegal mining in the area.

It is believed that the inspector has consfiscated their dumper n other mining materials against which some of the mining contractors gheraoed the police post under the leadership of the errring minister.

During the heated arguments n using of unparliamentary languages by the mining contractors, the situation went out of control leading to the physical assault of the police officer on duty. The situation was so grim and the police officer so badly terrified after being physicallt thrashed that ge had to safeguard himself by getting locked in a toilet of the police post.

About 20 persons including the minister has been booked under various sections of the IPC while the police is engaged in recognising n arresting 100 or more ruffians.

It may be recalled that such incidents of alleged assault on a govt servants on duty by an already controvertial minister of a cabinet rank going to police post in support of the illegal mining mafias n later on asssaulting the officer on duty is not only highly uncalled for n against morality it also brings bad name to the party or the government he belongs to.

The entire print n electronic media is full of news n debates on this issue leading to the embarrasing political situation of the saffron party in the state.
