The zodiac consists of 12 signs- Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. Among these Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are known as the Fire Signs. Though all the 12 signs of the zodiac show different traits, the element it is under also reflects its properties.

As such, people born under Fire Signs have specific traits to them. The element of Fire rules over the 1st, 5th and 9th house of the chart, that is to say, even if you are not born under the above three signs, if you have a number of planets in these houses, you can still exhibit some traits limited to the Fire Signs.

FIRE SIGNS: GENERAL FEATURES

Much as the element they are born under, Fire signs are fiery, passionate, inspiring and creative but also arrogant and sometimes selfish. It’s best not to make them angry as they tend to be snappy. Rebellious and brave, they are an enthusiastic bunch. Extroverted and like fire, hot-tempered and untamable. Dynamic, charming and flamboyant- confidence is their strong suit. Known as the ‘trendsetters of the zodiac’, they are born leaders blessed with high ideals and a broad vision. Their good leadership skill lies in their inspiring and can-do attitude. They have a strong presence and a zest for life. They know how to live. Fire signs are self-sufficient and uniquely creative.

But because of the strong nature of the fire, they can sometimes seem bossy and egotistical. Though most of the time they are fun to be with as they are honest, good-natured and full of radiant energy and vitality.
Not as much as their watery counterparts, but Fire signs are known to have good intuition too. As the warmth of the fire, they are quite caring and compassionate towards people they are close to. But their best quality is how they never shy away from a challenge- they face and conquer obstacles head-on and are action-oriented.
