Intl cricketer Ekta Bisht insulted on PM’s B’ Day celebration in Uttrakhand

The political power has literally made some of Uttarakhand’s ruling party leaders, ministers and workers over enthusiastic n desperate and it seems that power has badly pierced into their heads.

The party, its leaders and even ministers who once used to claim themselves as the soldiers of a desciplined and pricipled party BJP are today no less indesciplined, desperate and crazy of cheap publicity.

An incident of Uttarakhand’ s capital Dehradun is enough to substantiate this instance of the indesciplined and heywire BJP leaders, ministers and even CM . On Sunday , September the 17th a programme was organised by the Uttarakhand State government to celebrate the 67th birthday of prime minister by way of promotion of the pm’ s flagship initiative to save the girl child at Race Cource ground Dehradun titled Beti Bachao- Beti Padhao.

The popular cricketeer and a pace bowler of the Indian women cricket team Ekta Bisht who led Indian team to victory in Interntional women cricket, being the runner up after England was the chief guest of the programme.

But to the shock, dismay and utter surprise as soon as the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, ministers Dhan Singh Rawat and Rekha Arya appeared on the state the over enthusiastic BJP leaders and workers climbed on the stage created confusion and commotion and in the melee the guest of the programme international woman cricketeer was not only roughed up but was also asked insultingly by the commandoes of CM to leave the stage.

On hearing this the shocked EKTA Bisht came down and sat on the chair with the audience. Surprisingly, closeted with the chief minister busy in posing for pictures being clicked by mediamen , the ministes did not have time and attequettes to bring Ekta Bisht on the stage already over packed with the BJP’s publicity hungry local leaders and ministers.

It was only after the chief minister announced her name from the stage while addressing the crowd that these ministers and local BJP ‘ leaders relented and finally called Ekta Bisht on the stage.

Shame on them that even on the important occassion of the prime minister’s birth day celebration in the name of BETI BACHAO BETI PADHAO, the ruling party workers and leaders insult the BETI OF UTTARAKHAND, EKTA BISHT who bought laurels for India and Uttarakhand by her outstanding bowling.
