It is a direct fight between BJP and AAP in Delhi Assembly Elections
As the election date in the capital is nearing the political campaigning has geared up to the maximum and the three major political parties have geared up their strategies to the maximum to score victories at the hustings.
While the ruling AAM Admi party led by CM Arvind Kejriwal is in full swing claiming itself to be the party on the winning side, the main opposition and the ruling party at the center BJP is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that it reaches out to its vote bank on important issues such as CAA, construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir, Triple Talaq and prime minister Narendra Modi’s image as one of the ablest PM of the country till date. According to the latest political developments, the Bhartiya Janta Party and it’s political Godfather Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh has decided on a concrete strategy to hold about 3 thousand to 5 thousand corner meetings in Delhi’s various legislative constituencies to impress upon the voters about its various poll promises having been fulfilled as above and convince them that BJP being the core party of majority community has stood true to the expectations of their traditional supporters and Hindus as well as Muslims for fulfilling above demands in order to respect their feelings and long-pending aspirations.
The prime minister Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah, BJP president J. P. Nadda, central ministers and several film celebrities like Hema Malini, Sunny Deol, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari, etc would be extensively campaigning for BJP candidates in Delhi with the Home minister Amit Shah having already started his padayatra in Matiyala and Uttam Nagar constituencies drawing huge crowds including addressing of the corner and closed-door meetings. Similarly, the RSS volunteers and leaders have formed committees at the ward level to organized thousands of close door workers meetings to reach out to voters on these national issues to strongly and effectively counter the increasing influence of AAP especially revealing to the Delhi voters that the Citizens Amendment Act is pro-people and does not amount to snatching away the citizenship of any community as being given to understand by the anti CAA protestors at Shaheen Bagh and other parts of the country. On the contrary, the Aam Admi Party which considers itself to be winning the Delhi elections hands down is concentrating its campaign on its proclaimed credible achievements and freebies on water, power, health, education and transport sectors and it’s chief Arvind Kejriwal has even gone to the extent of appealing to the BJP and Congress electorates to vote for AAP across party lines for the incredible works and freebies given by his government in Delhi.
The Congress party which stands in the distinct third position though trying hard to come in the political race is really finding itself in a difficult situation as the Delhi elections seem to be a direct fight between AAP and BJP. Political analysts say that in a way the Delhi election is a direct fight between prime minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Arvind Kejriwal with Congress party not at all in the fray in eighty percent of the Assembly constituencies of Delhi. According to reliable sources, the main reason for the BJP to bank on national issues like CAA, abrogation of Article 370, construction of Ram Temple and triple Talaq is due to the proclaimed achievement by AAP especially by making everything free. The saffron party hopes that these issues would be immensely effective in countering the victory juggernaut of Kejriwal who especially rides on freebies and positioning itself on emotional issues of Hindu integrity such as Ram Temple, Article 370 and CAA. Apart from these significant issues, the Bhartiya Janata Party is also exposing the AAP govt and CM Kejriwal on Ayushman Bharat issue impressing upon the Delhi voters that he has deliberately kept Delhi voters away from the benefit of this health insurance scheme by not implementing it in Delhi as well as by regularizing about 1787 unauthorized colonies of Delhi.
