Modi all over
Read Time: 5 minutes

The exit polls being extensively aired by television channels of the country remind one and all about the massive Modi wave that existed in 2014 when he acknowledged historic majority on its own not even need the support of the allies.

However, he did accommodate the NDA partners in his cabinet to maintain mutual trust.

Congress then just reduced itself to mere 44 numbers in Lok Sabha, the lowest tally during the last 70 years.

The present exit polls too present the same picture with the majority of them giving the BJP government led by prime minister Narendra Modi from 265 to 336 seats indicating the massive Modi wave once again of course compounded with immense majority polarisation post-Pulwama, exists.

The fact of the matter is the Modi charisma or Hindu polarisation even continued thereafter as well ( after 2014) in all the nineteen states of the country where it snatched political power from Congress n Samajwadi Party in the aftermath of 2014 right from Assam to Uttar Pradesh to Goa on hindu polarisation n Modi charisma plank, thus altogether killing the negative effect of demonetisation n GST including the unemployment n agrarian crisis tirade.

Though it’s also true that Congress chief Rahul Gandhi’s extensive efforts and anti Modi tirade has resulted in bagging power in three heartland states viz. Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh n Chattisgarh considered to be the traditional n main citadels of BJP known as hindi heartland states.

In the entire campaign trail Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and the BSP SP combine leaders viz Mayawati n Akhilesh Yadav, TMC chief Mamta Bannerjee had been extremely articulate but arrogant on issues such as alleged Rafale corruption, unemployment n agrarian crisis, calling the prime minister as ” CHOR” for which Rahul Gandhi was even reprimanded by the apex court of India and had to ask for apology.

Rahul Gandhi used the issues of Rafale, demonetisation, GST n farmers suicides in all his hundreds of election speeches and his attitude seemed to be that of an arrogant and autocratic leader even going to the extent of calling the PM as Thief which has been outrightly rejected by the countrymen and instead went badly against Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, the entire non BJP opposition and leaders.

People of the country praised and lauded Modi for his outstanding leadership, his oratorical skills, his outstanding appearences, his trustworthy pre election promises, developmental intiatives, his extraordinary ability to capitalise the post Pulwama situation and the army pride n bravery including ledge to abrogate article 370 n Section 35 A from J& K etc .

The prime minister’s ability to make India’s special reputation in the international arena compounded with listing of JEM chief Azhar Masood in the UN list of global terrorits and his strong anti Pakistan stance has also helped the saffron party gain tremendous momentum during the elections finally resulting in securing majority, if the exit polls are be relied upon.

Where ever news analysts went at the pan India level there seemed to be a massive undercurrent of Modi wave rating the entire non-BJP opposition as the most unreliable, scattered pieces of power-hungry politicians with several prime ministers over ambitious entrants.

As compared to versatile prime minister Narendra Modi none of the single leaders of the anti-BJP conglomerate fitted into the comparative assessment in front of diligent n miraculous Modi reveals news analysts.

The general impression gathered by the public at large was that while prime minister Narendra Modi n his government had been spotless during the last five year tenure, leaders of the opp0sition viz Rahul Gandhi, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav, Mayavati, etc have number of corruption cases going against them in various courts related to disproportionate assets case, National Herald case, installing an elephant statue case in which Mayawati has been directed by the apex court to deposit 4000 crores rupees in govt’s corpus, etc.

Moreover, the failure of Congress n other like-minded parties in forming pre-poll alliances in states like Bengal, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Delhi, Haryana etc has also resulted in division of opposition votes and sending a message across that these scattered Khichri parties are least bothered for serious unification to give a credible national alternative but only worried to downgrade each other in order to grab the prime minister’s chair at the cost of each other..

Narendra Modi, BJP supremo Amit Shah on the other hand reached maximum people of the country by organising more than 300 public meetings, strengthening 99 percent of the polling booths at the ground level, meticulously organising workers meetings in thousands, most appropriately disseminating pro party publicity through its nationally n internationally spread IT n social media network n above all arranging maximum funds and multidimensional resources to ensure party’s victory at the pan India level compounded with catch Namo slogans as well as grass root reach efficiently using its multipronged Hindu outfits at all levels.

Though as per the exit polls surveys the BJP is winning hands down getting more than 300 seats with its allies, there is no doubt that such opinion polls have failed as well in the past.

But the way pro Modi magic phenomena is being witnessed nationally, there seems to be the little scope of riding off the exit poll calculations. What’s your take friends?
