Jet Airways former chairman Goyal n his wife going out of India, disembarked from flight to Emirates
After facing lot of heat and discontentment from the people n opposition parties during the election campaigns, the government n its various authorities are in no mood to exercise ignorance towards the money launderers, defaulter businessmen, corporate houses and financial cheaters especially the bad name and negative publicity acknowledged by it in the context of Kingfisher owner Vijai Mallya, diamond merchants Nirav Modi, Mehul Chowksi n others who’d clandestinely flew out of India with 24000 crores.
As a sequel to this, the Mumbai police and the immigration branch officials under the directives of Enforcement directorate etc have exhibited tremendous vigilance yesterday and offloaded the earlier owner of Jet Airways Naresh Goyal and his wife from a Dubai bound United Arab Emirates flight which had already taken off from Mumbai Airport.
As per the latest news, may be after receiving emergency instructions from the higher ups, the Mumbai Police and the Mumbai Airports immigration department officials came into action and called back the flight at the terminal at 3.40 PM finally offloading both the husband n wife.
According to sources the the former chairman of Jet Airways Naresh Goyal n his wife were to catch a connecting flight to London from Dubai.
As per the news, though no reason have been attributed for off loading Naresh Goyal n his wife, who’d already resigned from the board of directors of Jet Airways, there is a possibilty that they have been stopped on the instructions of ED who’ve issued a look out circular against them, as a case of massive financial irregularities in the accounts of Jet Airways is currently under investigation.
Moreover, suffering under heavy financial crunch, once a reputed airlines Jet Airways is today in bankruptcy having terminated more than 12 thousand employees n several of them going without salaries for the last several months.
Hundreds of these suffering employees, women n men had held number of protest demonstrations two months ago at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar and at its corporate offices in Delhi n Mumbai.
The protesting employees were requesting the then BJP led NDA government to intervene in the Jet Airways crisis n resolve the vexed issue so that thousands of families of the terminated employees having served for more than a decade, could be saved.
Mr. Naresh Goyal had been the chairman of Jet Airways since its inception but had resigned from the board of directors after pressure from other stake holders.
