The shameful drubbing faced by the ruling Congress Party in Karnataka election at the hands of the Bhartiya Janata Party unambiguously indicate that Modi, Shah era of charisma is still intact and energetic and vociferous Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s political clout seems to have been incessantly downsliding as usual.

This historic BJP victory has clearly and transparently exhibited that no factor except prime minister Narendra Modi’s charismatic image and histrionics are still relevant in Indian politics and outstandingly significant amongst the masses of the country.

Securing over 110 seats leaving Congress and Janata Dal Secular to merely 70 and 40 seats each, respectively, leaving no scope for formation of the government in the only Southern state infiltrated by BJP for the second time, even if both of them ( Congress and Janata Dal( S) ) come together.

This results resoundingly favouring the BJP has also given a massive rebuff to the exit polls of the prestigious news channels like AAJ TAK n others who’s given clear cut edge to Congress claiming that the latter has every chance to form the government in Karnataka.

This resounding saffron victory therefore opened doors for the BJP’s supposed entry in other southern states of the country as well, in the near future where its trying hard to infilterate its cadres and ideology of majoritarianism.

On the other hand it also would work as a great moral booster to its rank and file all over the country who are anxiously looking forward for the re come back of Narendra Modi n his government to power at the centre in 2019.

While the performance of Janata Dal (secular) led by former prime minister HD Devegowda and his former CM son can be rated as quite satisfactory who contested with the BSP’s support , the Congress Party’s outcome which was the ruling party of the state and its leader Rahul Gandhi addressed about 100 public meetings, could not be at all rated as good or satisfactory which has rather amounted to denigrating the Nehru Gandhi scion’s political reputation as he was also considered as the PM material of the 2019 elections by the non BJP opposition and the Congress party, though leaders like Mayawati and TMC chief and CM Mamta Banerjee are also nursing the hopes to occupy the top slot of the country.

Political analysts say that the way Congress Party and its leader Rahul Gandhi has been facing the incessant drubbing in all its previous strong holds ( the Congress ruled states) despite his fullest involvement in all the state level election campaigns right from Uttar Pradesh to Gujarat to North East to Uttarakhand to Assam and finally in Karnataka, it has become amply clear that in comparison to prime minister Narendra Modi, his leadership as the president of the oldest party and the prime ministerial candidate, is not at all clicking and accompanying fruitful results.

Today BJP is in the ruling in almost 22 states of the country with Congress steadily losing every state it once ruled at the hustings at the hands of the BJ and Modi jaggernaut.

This has also in a way diluted his significance to become the nucleus of the entire non BJP opposition in the country and so his claim as the collective non BJP opposition candidate for the top slot of the country. What’s your take friends?
