Kejrival adamant, says will lift the sit in only after LG issues directive for withdrawal of Civil servants’ strike
After so much of political drama for the last nine days the two warring individuals, the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival as well as the LG Anil Baijal are still adamant on their respective stands of not arriving at the negotiating table despite so much of media hype and charges as well as counter accusations between the AAP leaders and the BJP which is ruling the centre and whose nominee, the LG, is the constitutional head of the NCT of Delhi.
Reports suggest that the Delhi CM Kejrival is not ready to budge an inch and is still adamant on continuing his sit in at the LG house despite the high court’s objections till the orders are (not) issued from the office of the latter (lG) directing the IAS officers to resume work and withdraw their strike.
Meanwhile, Delhi Chief minister Arvind Kejrival said that two of the AAP lawmakers who’d gone to LG’s residence to meet him were turned away forcibly by the police, after the latter refused to meet them.
In a tweet one of the ousted lawmakers Somnath Bharti wrote: We have requested the LG to give us time so that we can talk and discuss important issues with him but instead, he forcibly ousted us from his office at the behest of Delhi police.
Similarly, in another tweet an ebulient Arvind Kejrival while castigating the Modi government wrote:
3 years lost in the valley,
3 years that saw huge civilian & army casualties,
3 years later the valley is worse-off from where it stood then.
This is what happens when you put politics over people.
I will not allow Delhi to suffer because of dirty politics of Modi Govt.
In the meanwhile, as per the reports coming to the fore the Deputy Chief minister Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyendra Jain have been released from the hospital and have resumed their respective responsibilities by attending their offices and clearing the pending files.
However, the AGMUT cadre IAS officer associaton had denied having received any written communication from the CM’s office regarding their safety and security as assured by Kejrival two days ago. They said they are still awaiting the Chief minister’s written assurance in this regard.
There are also indications that the LG had already directed the IAS officers to resume duty in order to bring to halt the current impasse. But no written orders seem to have been issued in this regard so far, say sources.
It may be recalled that the sit in by the Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival started on 11th june and today is the 9th day alongwith the three ministers.
However, the two ministers on hunger strike cum sit in at the LG’s office who were addmitted to LNJP hospital after their deteriorating health conditions have finally been releived on 19th morning.
The LG Anil Baijal seems to be in no mood to submit to the pressure tactics of Arvind Kejrival and his cohorts nor is the latter ready to surrender till Anil Baijal issues directives for the withdrawal of the IAS officers’ strike. Let’s see which way the situation takes a crucial turn and what comes out of it finally.

A bad dancer blames the ground. After independence there have been different governments at the centre and state (delhi ) several times in the past. How come only kejriwal feels the inconvenience all the time ? Now that.Delhi elections are nearing as well as Lok Sabha all this drama has started to get sympathy votes. This man is an anti India agent and has been confirmed by RAW OFFICIALS but still people choose to remain ignorant. This man has a modus operandi to hijack Delhi and can put the country in troubled waters if he is given too much freedom. WAKE UP COUNTRYMEN.
