Maneka issued notice by election commission for her hate comments in Sultanpur. Campaign for the second leg becomes more hectic
As the second phase of election slated for 18th April comes nearer the election campaigning in various states have geared up considerably with leaders of various political parties accusing each other exploiting sentiments of the electorates on religious and communal grounds in order to beget maximum votes and ensure their respective victories.
Every attempt is being made to polarise voters on communal, religious and caste grounds forgetting the norms of Election Commission of India. While the saffron clad Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has been openly addressing massive public gatherings in favour of the BJP candidates in Uttar Pradesh saying that if Ali is dearer to the BSP, SP n Congress leaders then Bajrang Bali is more dearer and closer to them clearly dividing the society in the name of communities, allegedly, obviously between the majority and the minority communities.
In response to Yogi Adityanath’s alleged communal outbursts, the senior Samajwadi party leader and the MP contestent from Ram Pur , Uttar Pradesh against the former MP n actress Jaya Prada, contesting on the BJP ticket has questioned the credibility of Lord Hanuman saying that it’s Yogi Adityanath who’d said that Lord Hanuman is a dalit while others say that he belonged to other communities.
Therefore, he had given a birth to new combination saying that He is not Bajrang Bali but Bajrang Ali.
Things have stooped so low in this election that even Gods like Bajrang Bali is not spared for the sake of votes.
Meanwhile, in Maharashtra and Karnataka addressing massive public meetings the prime minister Narendra Modi has asked electorates to vote in the name of Pulwama martyrs and the Armymen fighting the enemy on our borders facing all odds and extreme challenges.
He’d clearly stated that the general election of 2019 is on the issue of Raashtrawad and parivaarvad n the people of the country should decide between Nationalism n dynasty.
Meanwhile, the union minister and the BJP candidate from Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh Menaka Gandhi has been issued notice by the election commission of India for her anti Muslim hate speech in Sultanpur’s Turab Khani village on Friday where while addressing an election rally she said that she expects the muslim voters to vote for her if they think that they should be duly heard and given jobs after she wins the election, which she is anyways winning by all means.
Menaka Gandhi unambiguously said while warning the muslim voters that if she do not get their votes then they should also be ready to face the consequences, as she’ll also treat them negatively in response to the same attitude of the minority voters towards her.
The three minutes controvertial speech of Menaka Gandhi became viral in social media n was widely telecast by all the news channels of the country leading to outrage for her blatant communal remarks.
However, after the media asked for her response on this controvertial statement union minister Menaka Gandhi strongly denied n refuted the news saying that it has been aired wrongly n out of context by her political rivals .
It may be recalled that the union minister Maneka Gandhi is contesting from Sultanpur, the seat, earlier held by her son Varun Gandhi who is now contesting from Pilibhit.
The notice issued by the district magistrate of Sultanpur after her hate speech on the directions of theElection Commission has led her to give explaination on her highly derogatory communal comments which may lead to the disturbance to the communal fabric of the country.
Some of the senior retired Army, Naval and Airforce officers including the former chiefs of the three services has also written a letter to the Supreme Commander of India i.e. the president, raising tremendous objections to the misuse of the name of Indian Army and Airforce including the martyrs of the defence forces for vested political aims in the ongoing elections.
