Max falls in a gorge in Yamkeshwar

A fatal accident had occurred at Chamkotkhal Yamkeshwar ( Dhungi) today grievously injuring 9 children who had been ferried for immediate treatment at Rishikesh hospital. The Max in uncontrollable speed fell in a gorge at Yamkeshwar (Dhungi) Chamkotkhal after the driver lost the control of the Max. The injured children had been rescued and retrieved from the gorge after great efforts by the local police. The condition of all the children is critical.

Just three days ago a Max had fallen in a gorge on Pratap Nagar Khangsali Madan Negi Road killing 9 school going children and critically injuring 9 others who were later on airlifted to Rishikesh hospital for urgent medical treatment creating a furor in the government and anger amongst the people of Tehri Garhwal. This Max was being driven by an untrained driver with his father who was fully trained, sitting on the back seat. Just today yet another Max has fallen in a gorge grievously injuring 9 children who have been ferried to Rishikesh hospital after the injured children were retrieved from the site after great efforts. The ill-fated Max fell in a gorge at Yamkeshwar (Dungi) Chamkotkhal Garhwal, Uttarakhand. The reason behind the accident has not been ascertained yet.

On the same day when the Max fell into the gorge at Madan Negi in Tehri Garhwal, there were five more deaths of bus passengers in another area which was returning from Badrinath Shrine. A huge boulder had fallen on the bus due to a landslide killing five and injuring several others. Just a few days before about nine KANVARIYAS coming on a Max after collecting holy Ganga water from Gaumukh Gangotri, belonging to Haryana too had died after a boulder fell on their Max crushing them to death on the spot and grievously injuring five others. The spate of fatal accidents has, unfortunately, become the order of the day in Uttarakhand due to various unavoidable natural circumstances as well as due to the negligence of the drivers.
