Mayawati says that Muslims should not waste their votes on BJP and SP
The BSP Chief Mayavati on Sunday claimed that under Modi Government minorities were facing bias and she warned Muslims that if they will give votes to Samajwadi Party or Congress will only help Bhartiya Janta Party and her party want support of them to top the saffron party.
She was addressing a rally in occasion of party founder Kanshi Ram’s 10th death anniversary where she told Muslims that they should not waste their vote by giving it to Samajwadi Party as there is a fight going on within their family.
She made some provocative statements in which she asked people to open their eyes and do not give their precious voted to both BJP or Samajwadi party and further blamed that ever since BJP has ever come into power in Centre, Muslims and minorities are being subjected to bias. Even minority status of Muslim University and Jamia Millia Islamia is being snatched away.
It seems that she did not want to stop against BJP and was very angry as she kept saying things against the BJP. She said that communal forces are becoming stronger and Muslims are being targeted in the name of Love Jihad, Gau Rakhsha and religious conversion.
She has planned to launch her party in three states going to polls early next year- Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. In fact she seems to be afraid that people will listen to BSP as they might enter into an understanding for forming as government with the BJP if they fell short of majority.
She bluntly said that there is a fight for supremacy in the Samajwadi party between Akhilesh Yadav and his uncle Shivpal Yadav and its result will be that the Yadav votes will splits as each will try to ensure the defeat of candidates owing allegiance to the other.
In this rally she made all efforts to get the Muslim votes in her favor by attacking the BJP and SP but she did not tell that what her party can do for Muslims.
