The External Affairs ministry press briefing that hardly lasted for three minutes says that while the Indian MIG 16 Bison shot down the Pakistan Fighter Aircraft today morning in an arial engagement at the Indian borders when Pakistan fighter aircrafts breached Indian airspace early morning targetting our military installations as a counter move against India’s attack on JEM terrorists camps in Pakistan, one Indian MIG fighter aircraft which shot down Pak F 16 was also damaged and one of its pilot is missing in the operation. The details are being investigated. The Air chief marshal Kapoor was also present in the briefing.

Ravish Kumar added that due to the extreme readiness n alertness of Indian Airforce the Pakistan’s attempts to cross LOC have been completely foiled.

Not ready to take any questions the MEA spokesperson said that it shot down the Pakistan F 16 fighter aircraft after Pakistan Air Force breached India airspace n LOC targetting Indian military installations.

In this arial engagement he said while the Pak F 16 has been fully destroyed after being shot down by the MIG Bison 16 aircraft, it was also destroyed n its pilot went missing.

It is said that the wreckage of these destroyed aircrafts fell on both the sides, Pakistan n India.

This unambiguously indicate, say sources that what Pakistan is claiming about having captured an Indian Pilot stands vindicated.

However, the Pakistan government has not informed the Indian government about this fact as per the diplomatic protocol n goes against the Geneva convention norms which is highly uncalled for.

The press briefing was addressed by the MEA spokesman Ravish Kumar.

Pak has only produced terrorists in 70 years. Now they are defending them by retaliating. Better they hand over these terrorists to Indian side. The next few months are going to be terrible for pak
