Modi Government’s days are numbered, May 23 will put the final nail in BJP’s coffin : Congress
Congress candidate from Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha seat Jai Prakash Agrawal intensified his poll campaign as the election date in Delhi is approaching. JP Agrawal met with the morning walkers at various parks in Pashchim Vihar and Shakoor Basti assembly areas and also played Badminton with some.
He visited several parks on Saturday and met with the morning walkers and appealed them to vote for him. The people met with Mr Agarwal warmingly and the four-time Congress MP assured them to be available for them all the time.
Talking to the people Mr Agarwal said, “You should come out in good numbers to exercise your franchise and vote this government out of power. Every vote counts and therefore every single vote is necessary to teach the BJP a lesson. The public has made up its mind to vote the ‘jumlebaz’ and misleading government out of power.”
Bunty Kumar, a trader, said, “The traders are going through a lot due to GST, if the Congress government comes, we expect the problems of the business class to be resolved, so we will vote for the Congress.”
JP Agarwal took out a Padyatra from Gandhi Market to ISBT and participated in another one from Hamdard Medical Store to Lal Kuan. During his Padyatras he said, “Looking at the people’s attachment for the Congress party during my Padyatra, I am convinced that Congress-led government is going to be formed after May 23. I am very happy to see the positive response of people of all sections towards our public outreach campaigns.”
People welcomed him with flowers and garlands where ever he went. The elderly, the youth and women alike conveyed their best wishes to him and promised to support him.
Heera Lal, a voter, said, “I have not seen any candidate so amiable. He meets everyone with respect and love. It is not that JP Agarwal only meets with the people during the time of the election. He is always available to the people of Delhi. I am a tailor and I have met him a couple of times already and he was very welcoming. I would appeal to all the people of Chandni Chowk to vote for JP Agarwal.”
Former MLA Anil Bharadwaj, Harishankar Gupta, Prahlad Singh Sahni, Kunwar Karan Singh, Municipal Corporator Mukesh Goyal, Kamal Kant Sharma, Chaudhary Chatar Singh and Advocate Geet Sethi also appealed to the voters to ensure JP Agarwal wins with a huge majority.
