National Doctor’s Day – Students, teachers, and staff at Canadian International School create inspiring messages to thank the healthcare workers for their efforts

In this war against coronavirus, the actual superheroes of the society are the healthcare workers who are working relentlessly to save numerous lives at this hour. Pledging their services as well as lives for the sake of humanity, they are appealing to everyone to stay at home and help flatten the curve.

In a bid to honor their contributions and efforts in the war against the corona pandemic, students, teachers, and staff at Canadian International School came together virtually, and some socially distanced to recognize National Doctor’s Day and thank the corona warriors for their selfless deeds. Holding placards, with ‘Thank You’ messages, the children, teachers and the staff expressed their gratitude to all frontline workers for their tireless work.

Speaking on her participation in the campaign, Aryan Kunzang Chawla, student, Canadian International School said – “I am so proud to be part of my school’s campaign to reaffirm our heartfelt gratitude towards all the doctors, nurses, medical staff, and healthcare workers leading the battle against COVID-19 on the frontlines and are putting their lives selflessly at risk to keep us safe.  Some of them haven’t gone back to meet their families in such a long time as they tirelessly work in the hospitals.  Thank you a million times over!”

“I have family and friends who are doctors scattered around the world caring for patients on a daily basis.  Their selfless work keeps us all healthy and safe.  I want to thank all of them for everything they do, every day!” said Rishi Mehra, parent of a student at Canadian International School.

Lauding the efforts of the healthcare workers, Ashwini S., School Counselor, Canadian International School said – “Being selfless is not that different from being brave.  It is when you are selfless that you are the bravest.  Grateful to all the brave doctors around the world.”

Expressing her gratitude to the selfless efforts of the healthcare workers, Shweta Sastri, Managing Director, Canadian International School said – “Healthcare professionals around the world have truly taken on the war on COVID-19 like brave hearts. We at CIS, salute their efforts and thank them for their service. The world is truly grateful for them.”
