Mysteriously missing Mohit Kathaith from Vaishali, Ghaziabad
Read Time: 3 minutes

A fourteen year old boy, student of class 9th of Police Modern School, Vaishali, Ghaziabad is missing for the last three days and his where abouts are still unknown.

Mohit has gone missing from Sector three Vaishali since 1st of May when he started for his school on foot at 8 AM as the school is hardly 1.25 kilometres away from his residence.

His mysterious dissapearence has raised doubts in the minds of his traumatic family members including his parents.

Son of father late Gambhir Singh Kathaith and mother Sarita Kathaith, Mohit was also carrying a mobile phone with him which is now going switched off. The number of his mobile phone is : 7838913388.

According to his widowed mother, after leaving for his school just after half an hour on May first morning probably at 8.30 AM Mohit had informed that he had reached the school.

But after confirming from the school authorities it was ascertained that Mohit had’nt come to school on 1st May, contrary to the statement of disappeared Mohit who according his mother had confirmed about reaching the school.

It however remains to be seen whether Mohit told the truth or he was lying.

However, Mohit’s mother who is a hapless widow, tried to contact him on his mobile phone, several times but it was shut down.

The confused and tormented widow Sarita Kathaith, thereafter tried their level best to search him at all the possible locations like his friends place and the homes of relatives, but of no avail.

Failing in their constant attempts to trace their mysteriously dissappeared son Mohit Kathaith who is still an adolescent the bothered mother n immediate relatives went to the police to request them lodge the FIR and energise their efforts to trace him but of no avail initially.

The local police informed the parents on 1st evening that a written report has been filed in the police post of Vaishali n that they are trying to search the missing boy but of no awail and finally on 2nd May evening the FIR regarding the missing 14 year old Mohit Kathaith was registered in the Indirapuram Police Station.

While the Indirapuram police is trying its best to search the missing 14 year Mohit, his relatives, near n dear ones n the neighbours are also trying hard to locate him but in vain.

Almost 72 hours has elapsed and there is no clue about mysteriously missing adolescent Mohit.

This certainly raise question mark on the so called efficiency and the apathy of the police authorities.

Had they been serious enough they could have traced him by now.

It may be recalled that similarly a 5 year old girl Kashish Rawat was mysteriously found missing four years ago from Ghaziabad and despite serious efforts by umpteen number of social organisations of Uttarakhand in Delhi n UP including lodging of FIR n handing over of the case to crime branch she is still at large which unambiguously speaks of the ignorance and apathetic attitude of the police authorities in searching mysteriously missing children in Ghaziabad location.
