The popular king of Jaagar known as Jaagar Samraat Pritam Bhartwan and the first women conquerer of the highest himalayan peak Mount Everest Bachendri Pal have been selected for the coveted honours Padma Shree n Padma Vibhushan while a renowned photo journalist Anup Shah is the third Padmashree recipient of the Himalayan state.

While people of the state of Uttarakhand are pleased to hear this announcement a large section is annoyed over the most sought after legendary singer, lyricist, litetareur and preserver n promoter of Uttarakhandi culture n dialects Narendra Singh Negi having not been included in the list.
