Pakistan army involvement 100%, JeM is its baby: Indian army
Holding Pakistan army and its spy agency ‘ISI’ directly responsible for the Pulwama terror attack, the Indian army on Tuesday said Jaish-e-Mohammed is the baby of Pakistani military and there is no doubt about their involvement in the February 14 suicide bombing.
“Jaish-e Mohommed is the baby of Pakistani army. JeM is being controlled by Pakistan army and ISI. Jaish has admitted that their chief operations commander has been killed. Pakistan army involvement (in suicide bombing) is 100 per cent,” said Lieutenant General KJS Dhillon, General Officer Commanding, 15 Corps of the Indian Army.
Forty CRPF soldiers were killed when a JeM suicide bomber rammed his vehicle into a CRPF convoy at Lethpora in Pulwama on February 14.
“Ever since the attack, we are tracking top JeM leadership in the Kashmir valley. The convoy attack was carried out by JEM with active support of Pakistan army and ISI. In less than 100 hours, we eliminated the JEM leadership which was being handled from Pakistan,” said Lt Gen Dhillon.
Sending a tough message to the youth who join terrorism, the Army Commander said, “I request all Kashmiri mothers to tell their sons, who have joined terrorism to surrender and get back to the mainstream. Anyone who will pick up gun in Kashmir will be eliminated unless he surrenders.”
He mentioned that the government had initiated good surrender policy so that terrorists who surrender can join the mainstream.
On US withdrawal from Afghanistan, Lt Gen Dhillon said lot has been said about it but maintained that anyone who enters the valley will not go back alive.
