Pierce Brosnan was not aware about what he was selling

Hollywood actor Pierce Brosnan has released a statement in which he has claimed that the Pan Masala manufacturer company has violated the contract because it was falsely presented to him and presented him as a brand ambassador for its entire product line, including tobacco containing mouth freshener.

Brosnan has expressed his heartfelt apologies for causing offence and completely blamed Pan Bahar Company for manipulating media outlets into believing that he endorsed the brand.

In his statement he said “Having endured, in my own personal life, the loss of my first wife and daughter as well as numerous friends to cancer, I am fully committed to supporting women’s healthcare and research programs that improve human health and alleviate suffering.”

People.com has reported that Brosnan’s contract clearly stated that he was to endorse a breath freshener/tooth whitener and he claimed that he was committed to advertise only one product as pan bahar and the company claimed that it was all natural containing neither tobacco, supari or  any kind of substance which is harmful for consumption.

Brosnan has clearly asked the company to remove him from its advertising campaign and on further said that he had no prior knowledge of something that would harm one’s health otherwise he would not have done this contract.

Few days back Pan Bahar Company released its campaign featuring Pierce Bronson but people started mocking about the actor for falling on hard times. The overall reaction was negative because as an actor he was promoting a product which is harmful for health.

Anyways it was also quite funny to see the great Hollywood MI6 agent promoting a Pan Masala which is not easily digestible at-least in India or maybe anywhere around the World. He has his own charm and we could not expect him to promote some harmful products for the society. But the good thing is that he has taken the right decision to move away from the controversy and even faced the media about the contract and cleared his role as brand ambassador.
