PM Narendra Modi visits Varanasi for thanks giving. Accuses some opposition ruled states of killing BJP workers
Prime minister Narendra Modi expressed serious concern over the lynching of BJP workers in opposition ruled states like Kerala, Tripura and West Bengal and said that the diabolical deaths of workers are still continuing. In Tripura, earlier ruled by communist parties for decades, the BJP worker were shockingly hanged to death.
Prrime minister Narendra Modi was addressing a massive rally of party workers n supporters in Varanasi thanking them for their unstinted support and blessings. This the the first thanks giving visit of PM Modi after three days of his victory from Varanasi constituency n the nation.
The prime minister was accompanied by BJP supremo Amit Shah who also welcomed him at the airport along with the state governor Ram Naik and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
From Airport the prime minister’s cavalcade headed for Kashi Vishwanath Temple where both prime minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah offered prayers amidst chanting of spiritual hyms for few minutes n sought Lord Shiva’s blessings. The PM took out a wad on notes from his pocket n put it in the Daan Paatr of the temple.
Prime minister Modi had also visited the temple after filing his nomination papers from Varanasi and sought the diety’s blessings.
The entite route from airport to Kashi Vishwanath temple was full of Modi supporters throwing rose petals, raising pro Modi slogans and also waving towards him in jubilation.
Addressing a huge gathering prime mininster expressed his heartiest thanks to the electorates of Varanasi and Uttar Pradesh for the third consecutve victory of BJP in Uttar Pradesh terming it as hatric victory and said that it could be possible only because every worker and voter of Varanasi considered himself or herself as Modi.
He spoke at length for about half an hour and assured the people that entire Uttar Pradesh and Varanasi will witness complete moderisation in the near future.
He added that his government believes in full transparency and hard work. He also lauded the opposition leaders and the candidates in the fray for peaceful conduction of the elections but accused the ruling political dispensation of Bengal, Kerala and Tripura for terrorising n diabolically killing the BJP workers.
Prime minister Narendra Modi with sandawood paste applied on his forehead looked extremely confident and reiterated his government’s commitment to work for the overall well being and development of the every section of the society without any religious, community n caste bias, considering everyone as the citizen of the country.
He added that it’s primarily the Chemistry that beats Arithmatic n this what has happened in Varanasi. Modi catagorically said that involvement of the workers in the development works is a prime necessity and transparency with hard work does bring fruitful results and his government believes in this formula.
Prime minister Modi said the overwhelmning victory of his party was due to extreme pro incumbency and the massive mendane accorded to in order to give India its rightful place amongst the global nations.
He further said that his statement that the BJP’s seats would cross the 300 mark was criticized by news analysts but when we got the same everyone was tightlipped.
This was due to the massive mandate and blessings of countrymen n thanked them from the core of his heart.
The BJP supremo Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath also addressed the people on this ocassion n conveyed their heartiest thanks to the electorates of UP n Varanasi for reposing faith in their party, ideology and prime minister Narendra Modi’s people centric development initiatives, thus making the BJP’s win with a landslide victory for the second time at the centre and third time in UP respectively.
The temperature in Varanasi was 42 degree celcius but hundreds of thousands of people chanting pro Modi slogans sat attentively to patiently hear their mass leader. It may be recalled that prime minister Narendra Modi won from here with a huge margin of 4.79 lakh votes.
The victory margin this year is one lakh votes’ more than the election of 2014, which not only speaks of his increasing popularity but also recognition of the various developmental works carried out in Varanasi during the last five years.
