The prime minister of India Narendra Modi today unveiled the worlds highest statue of the Iron Man of India, the first deputy prime minister and Home minister of liberated India Sardar Vallab Bhai Patel at Gujarat’s Kevadia amidst much fanfare with the Gujarat’s chief minister Vijay Rupani, governor of Gujarat Om Prakash Kohli, one time BJP’s Delhi state president and the BJP Supremo Amit Shah present alongwith him.

Prime minister inaugurated the historic statue of legend Sardar Patel on his 143rd Jayanti. This unique and outstanding statue is the world highest marvel with 182 metres in height while the Spring Temple Budha in China being next to this engineering marvel, with a height of 153 metre.

The most talked about statue of liberty in Washigton USA is just half of the size of this statue, being 97 metres in height. Other most popular statues in the world are the 116 metres high Latkyun Syetkar statue in Myanmar, Ushiku Daibutsu statue 110 metres of height in Japan, The great Budha statue in Thailand about 91 metres over the ground and The Motherland calls statue in Russia with 87 metres in height.

The entire credit for this outstanding globally famous marvel number one in the entire world in terms of the 182 metres height with the best of architecture, exclusively goes to the prime minister of India Narendra Modi, who while being the chief minister of Gujarat about five years ago initiated the move to collect hundreds of thousands of tons of Iron material, (135 metric tons) from all the villages and districts of Gujarat for building the strong foundation of the statue.

About roughly Rupees 2989 crores have been spent on this project to be finally completed after the five incessant years’ of planning, execution and engineering.

Unveiling the worlds highest statue of Sardar Patel today known as Statue of Unity, prime minister Narendra Modi said that this outstanding statue of the great leader would be a reminder about the courage of a legend who thrwarted efforts of the Britishers to disintegrate India by strongly bringing all the princely states badly divided into one fold and amalgamating them in the union of India.

When India became independent there were more than five hundred princely states looking after their individual interests having no say in nation building.

But strong and courageous leader, the then home minister of India Sardar Patel made all the kings and princess fall in line and compelled them to annex wih the Indian union in order to make a strong and united India.

Prime minister Modi while highly lauding the engineering and technical capabilities of hundreds of people involved in the making of this outstanding statue an outstanding engineering marvel of the world, said that this unique statue of Sardar will remind all those who question India’s existence that this nation was, is and will remain eternal.

After the unveiling of the statue of Unity two Army Helicopters did a fly past in honour of the prime minister and the legendary figure Sardar Patel and also sprinkled rose petals from the sky. A museam and a library with audio visual presentations have also been established for the national and international tourists intending to know about the various facets of Sardar’s life, relentless struggle as a freedom fighter and his outstanding contribution as the first deputy PM and the home minister of free democratic India.

In his entire speech the prime minister has not mentioned the name of the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi say his political detractors with whom late Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel had a very cordial and reverred relationship and whom the later considered as his socio political mentor.

Meanwhile, the Congress chief Rahul Gandhi has tweeted : It’s ironic that the statue of Sardar Patel is being inaugurated, but every institution he helped build is being smashed. The systematic distruction of India’s institutions is nothing short of treason # Statue Of Unity.

Political analysts say that this huge project of Sardar Vallab Bhai Patel is the prime ministers’ vanity project in view of the fast approaching national elections wherein legend Sardar’s towering personality and achievements would be highlighted as a counter to Nehruvian ideology to beget votes as in todays adddress the prime minister has not uttered the name of either Mahatma Gandhi or Nehru in his entire speech despite the fact that Sardar Patel was too close to both Gandhi and Nehru and worked under their guidance and patronage during his entire political life as a freedom fighter as well as a deputy PM and home minister of India.

We are building a nation and we are laying the foundations of One Nation, and those who choose to divide again and sow the seeds of disruption will have no place, no quarter, here, and I must say that plainly enough.” ~ Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
