PM’s overambitious CGD project launched in Dehradun says Ajay Tamta
Under the prime minister Narendra Modi’s one of the flagship programmes’ today the foundation of the city gas distribution projects was laid in over 129 districts and 65 geografical areas ( GA) of the country in order to expedite the seamless distribution of CNG gas for vehicles and LPG gas connections for domestic use at reasonable rates to the consumers of the country.
In addition the tenth aution sale of city gas distribution projects was also started in 50 geografical areas spread over 124 districts of 14 states. According to the union minister of state for textiles Ajay Tamata who participated in a function organised in this context in Uttarakhand said that billions of countrymen especially those hailing from the grass root masses, backward and economically deprived sections will be benefitted on a wide scale.
As a sequel to this over ambitious flagship programme of prime minister Narendra Modi an event was organised in Dehradun, Uttarakhand to lay the foundation stone of one such City Gas Distribution (CGD) project in which the union textile minister of state Ajay Tamta, Uttarakhand chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, former chief minister n MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank, MP from Tehri Garhwal Mala Lakshmi Shah, MLAs Harbans Kapoor n Umesh Sharma, Kau etc have participated and expressed their views. The function was attended by bureaucrats of ONGC, government departments of Uttarakhand and the media.
In view of the national elections of 2019 coming nearer various developmental projects of the central and state governments such as laying of foundation of CGD project, the construction of all weather roads in the Char Dham vicinity connection them with rest of the country and the state for the seamless traffic movement and initiatives of investor forum enticing industrialists and investors from all over the country n abroad have started taking shape and formulations and the governments at the centre as well as the state do not want to lose any chances to annoy its electorates. The results of the recently concluded civic polls in the state have also discouraged the state ruling party to a great extent and showing constructive results to the people in the state is its formost necesssity n priority for the time being.
