Pranab Mukherjee Passes Away: India Losses A Bharat Ratna
Today the former President and Congress leader Pranab Mukherjee breathed his last at a Delhi hospital.
His son Abhijit Mukherjee tweeted about the Bharat Ratna’s demise. On August 10, Mr. Mukherjee fell at his residence on Rajaji Road.
Then he was admitted to the Army Hospital in New Delhi for treatment. As a result of the accident, the blood clotted in his brain and he had to undergo brain surgery to remove the blood clot. He was in a coma and on a ventilator.
Thereafter, his health deteriorated due to a lung infection as per the information released by the Army Hospital in New Delhi. According to the hospital, Mukherjee was in a coma for 20 days after he was admitted to the hospital due to health complications, but his condition deteriorated today. Also, Mr. Mukherjee had tested positive for Covid-19 before the operation. Mr. Mukherjee himself had tweeted about it.
