Prime minister Modi at Kedarnath, celebrates Deepawali with Army n ITBP Jawans at Harshil, Garhwal, Uttarakhand

The prime minister Narendra Modi visited the historic ancient temple of Kedarnath for fourth time and met the Indian Army Jawans manning our Indo China border in the lowest temperature which goes into minus in the evening hours.

The prime minister also celebrated Deepawali with the Army Jawans at Harshil, in Garhwal, Uttarakhand before participating in the rituals and the arti at the Lord Kedarnath Temple. He distributed sweets to the Jawans, boasted their morale and posed for photographs with the jawans and officers safeguarding our porous borders under extreme odd and challenging climatic conditions. Prime minister Narendra Modi is a devout Hindu and a committed desciple of Lord Shiva. He has special attachment with Lord Kedarnath where he is visiting for the fourth time seeking His blessings.

Prior to becoming the CM and the prime minister Mr Narendra Modi meditated on the banks of the Ganga tributaries here and stayed in the vicinity of Lord Shiva for two months or so but then there was nobody to take notice of the future Gujarat CM and the prime minister of the largest democracy of the world. In 2013 when Kedarnath suffered a massive deluge related ecological catastrophe killing thousands it was Modi who had then requested the Uttarakhand’s Congress party governments’ CM Vijay Bahuguna to give the responsibility of the renovation and rehabilitation of the destroyed Kedarnath Temple and its vicinity but was refused. However, now the former Congress CM Vijay Bahuguna is today in BJP at the mercy of the prime minister.

Modi had been celebrating Deepawali in the Border areas with the Army Jawans every year after his becoming the prime minisyer of India. Last year he was in Himachal China Border and earlier in Jammu and Kashmir LOC. This being the election year as the general elections of 2019 are due after eight months and five states already going to polls next months prime minister Narendra Modi’s visit at the historic Kedarnath Temple in Garhwal, Uttarakhand is bound to have an impact on the majority community voters in tbe poll bound states.

Meanwhile the Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Aditya Nath too is in Ayodhya today celebrating Deepawali amidst three lakhs Deepawali lamps illuminating the land of Lord Rama’s birthplace. Yogi Aditya Nath has already cleared the proposal for constructing the biggest statue of Lord Rama in Ayodhya with the cost of more than Rs. 700 crores clarifying that the govt would discuss and clear all the constitutional bottlenecks.The prime minister Narendra Modi has broken all records being the PM having visited the maximum number of temples and religious places all over the country.
