Prime minister Narendra Modi files nomination papers at Rifle Club collectorate in Varanasi.

The prime minister Narendra Modi filed his nomination papers at Rifle club collectorate in Kashi, Varanasi today. He walked over 300 metres along with bodyguards to the collectorate.

He filed his nomination papers at 11.40 AM after performing the prayers at Kal Bhairav Temple. Dom Raja Jagdish Chowdhari, Rama Shanker Patel, adopted daughter of Madan Mohan Malviya and RSS activist Subhash Gupta were the proposers of prime minister Narendra Modi. There were hundreds of Modi supporters outside the collectorate raising pro Modi n Har Har Mahadev slogans.

The prime minister’s cavalcade reached the venue at 11.15 from where he went to Rifle Club and thanked the NDA leaders who’d also reached there to extend moral support and their solidarity to the prime minister Modi. Modi touched the feet of veteran Akali leader Prakash Singh Badal and shook hands with rest of the NDA leaders jubiantly thanking them for being in Varanasi today. He also touched the feet of one of her proposers’ Anna Purna Patel.

He interacted with all the NDA leaders present at Rifle Club for more than 15 minutes exchanging pleasentaries. He also met n mixed with jubilant school childred who’d come to greet him before the filing of the nomination papers.

The children were extremely happy n in cheerful mood. Prior to Modi’s extention of gratitude to these leaders, the BJP supremo Amit Shah presented shawls to each one of them. Those who reached Kashi , Varanasi are Prakash Singh Badal, Ram Vilas Paswan, Nitish Kumar, Udhav Thakrey, Nitin Gadkari, Yogi Adityanath, Sushma Swaraj, Raj Nath Singh, Hema Malini, Manoj Tiwari etc. Yesterday evening the prime minister participated in a six kilometre road show attended by hundreds of thousands of people who included his enthusiastic and jubilant supporters. The road show ended at Dashwamegh Ghat after two hours.

Prior to the road show he garlended the new statue of legend Madan Mohan Malviya. Prime minister Narendra Modi also took SAMVIDHAN KI SHAPATH which was also telecast live before finally signing his nomination papers.

After coming out of the collectorate prime minister Narendra Modi thanked the people of Kashi for making the yesterday’s road show a grand success n blessing him. He also appealed to the voters of the country to vote peacefully n in large numbers in this festival of democracy. He also cautioned the electorates not to come under the manipulative tactics of the opposition that since Modi is already winning hence they’re no need to go for voting in his favor. He added: instead they should vote massively.
