Priyanka asks: What has happened to 2 crore jobs n 15 lakh deposition in the peoples’ bank account?

The Gandhi family and the entire Congress Working Committee members were in Ahmedabad, Gujarat today. But the newly sworn in general secretary of Congress Priyanka Gandhi was the chief attraction besides her mother Sonia Gandhi, brother n party’s national chief Rahul Gandhi n former prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh who all visited the historic Gandhi Ashram n also addressed a massive rally after attending the CWC meeting.

The highest decision making body of Congress party, the Congress Working Committee’s meeting have been strategically organised in Ahmedabad Gujarat, the traditional stronghold of prime minister Narendra Modi n BJP supremo n former Gujarat Home minister Amit Shah where the saffron party is in power for the last more than 25 years.

About 58 years ago in 1961 during Nehru’s era, the Congress Working Committee meeting was held here.

The main reason for holding the highest decision making body’s meeting in Ahmedabad , Gujarat by the Congress high command is, obviously to challange Narendra Modi n Amit Shah from their traditional stronghold or home turf just as in the state elections, a year ago, the Congress party chief Rahul Gandhi has held number of hectic public meetings in various parts of Gujarat bringing the BJP MLAs tally below hundred thus finally scoring victories in three hindi heartland states of Rajathan, Chattisgarh n Madhya Pradesh being ruled by BJP for 15 years in succession except Rajasthan where it ruled for merely a single term n lost to Congress.

The Congress’s strategic move to hold the CWC n a massive rally in Ahmedabad right at the time of elections will not only help in rejuveneting the party organisation to the fullest but will also infuse a new sense of confidence, moral boost and high spirit amongst the party workers and state leaders.

The joining of Congress by a strong n powerful Patidar leader Hardik Patel has also given the state Congress tremendous strength especially during the elections.

This will help the Congress to improve its tally in the states as huge number of the Patel/ Patidar votes will come into Congress’s lap.

Moreover young leaders like Alpesh Thakur etc are also of immense political help to the state Congress party.

Meanwhile, addressing a massive public meeting at Ahmedabad for the very first time after becoming the party’s national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi, who resembles like her grand mother Indira Gandhi in tone n tenor, has urged the Gujarat electorates to mobilise themselves and ask the prime minister Narendra Modi as to where had the two crore annual jobs gone n what about the Rs 15 lakhs that was assured to be deposited in their savings bank account ?

She said this is her first Gujarat visit and it’s for the very first time that she been to Gandhiji’s ashram in Sabarmati from where had our father of the nation given the call for India’s liberation. She was literary in tears when she remembered the great sacrifices of father of the nation Gandhiji n hundreds of freedom fighters who maryred themselves for our nation’s freedom from the foreign yoke.

Strongly condemning n castigating the Modi rule of four n a half year Priyanka Vadra Gandhi said that the BJP lead NDA government at the Centre n the prime minister has done nothing except misguiding n befooling people and dividing the society in the name of religion n reactionary forces.

She said she had not intended to give the lecture but would speak briefly. During her brief speech she was very specific on saying that that BJP government has betrayed them during the last four years fully, divided the society for regio political reasons and did literary nothing on the employment generation front n bringing back black money stashed abroad n depositing 15 lakh rupees in everyone’s bank account.

She emphatically n catagorically said : everyone should pose both these questions to the prime minister Narendra Modi on employment n black money. The rally was attended by thousands of people having come at the venue to have the glimpse of Priyanka Gandhi.

It may be recalled that this was the first ever Gujarat visit and public address of Priyanka Gandhi in her capacity as the general secretary of AICC after the declaration of dates of general elections.

She also attended the CWC meeting for the very first time asthe party’s office bearer. Priyanka’s body language exhibited that she is fully n fiercely prepared to take on PM Modi n Amit Shah with full zeal, enthusiasm n fighting spirit to bring her best as the AICC’s General Secretary, Incharge Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile, the Congress chief Rahul Gandhi said that Congress party has resolved to defeat the forces of divisiveness, fascism, hatred n anger represented by the RSS/ BJP.

He tweeted : On the anniversary of Gandhiji’s historic Dandi March, the Congress Working Committee in Ahmedabad, resolved to defeat the RSS/ BJP ideology of fascism, hatred, anger n divisiveness. No sacrifice is too great in this endeavour, no effort too little, this battle will be one.
