The Afghan all-rounder’s foundation also quoted the cricketer saying, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un Dad, your memories have become my heartbeats & will stay with me for the rest of my life. I became #RashidKhan because of your duas & you are no longer with me to share my achievements. I have so much left to say to you. I Miss You,”
Rashid of Adelaide Strikers has played three contests so far in which he picked up five wickets. He has picked up wickets at an average of 8.20 and an economy of 3.41.
The Strikers had roped in Rashid in the last season and his inclusion has turned out to be boon for the franchise. The Strikers went on to win the championship. With 18 wickets, Rashid was crowed as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker. It would come as a huge blow for the Strikers if he decided not to continue to play.
